I've recently purchased The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. It is going to be the first book I read for my 2021 book challenge. Can't wait!

I finished it just before Christmas and holy crap. The writing and story is so so nice.

Did you finish it?? What did you think?
@heatherd85773 жыл бұрын
@@jenbennett8227 I am a bit of a slow reader and for some reason I struggled through the first half of the book. But I am proud to announce that I just finished it and it was a very interesting story. I love how the author incorporated so much of the fine arts in it!

I know I’m very late commenting but I was so excited to see one of your honorable mentions “Shine” by Jessica Jung. What I think is really neat about this book is actually Jessica’s insight into the Kpop world. She was a member of Girls Generation (SNSD) one of the biggest girl groups in Kpop. I completely forgot that she wrote this book, so thank you for reminding me!

I loved The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue so much that I wrote a song about it 😂 You can check it out in my instagram @kimberlyhanami (the video is kinda lame but I'm proud of the lyrics). Also, the House the Cerulean Sea felt like the typical family movies I watched as a kid where MCs take care of chaotic children, except that it was full of diversity and it made my heart happy 💜 It felt like a safe place indeed.

The absolute best thing I can say about Cemetery Boys is that it lives up to the hype. I'm so glad I was able to pick up this book and I can't wait to check out the rest of the books you mentioned!

I made a top 15 this year. I read like 180 books and only gave 15 of the books 5 stars so it felt really mean to try to restrict that to a top ten.

Thanks for this video! I was flipping between the video and goodreads the entire time, adding books to my to-read list! Also, I read The House in the Cereulean as a result of one of your recommendations on tiktok a while back and I just finished it the other day and it was wonderful! Also, I played quidditch in college, so I think I need to read This is How we Fly! I've never heard of any books about college quidditch before, so I think that's pretty cool.

I would say my number 1 top book from 2020 is crescent city, bc it just blew my mind. Every new chapter I had another theory about what was going on and who could possibly be the murder, but I haven't seen THAT ending coming. And I can't wait for CC 2 !! Also: you now got me with Addie LaRue..The german book comes out in march or april I guess, but I'm now looking for the english version since I cannot wait any longer lol Even though my english is not theee best, but I want to try it. ♥

Still, distraction hits me every time. Id be glad. Love your positive energy too! Greetings from Germany xx
