What better way to start my new channel than with a video documenting my visit with the Compton Cowboys. I was out in LA with Ouncie and my team for the Iron Cowboy at Staples Center and we checked out these dudes' ranch in South Central.

Never would I have ever thought of Compton and cowboys in the same thought, especially after living in San Bernardino for years. Sounds like a bunch of good guys trying to do something positive for the youth in the city. Mucho respect!!

When I was a kid I used to see the black cowboys riding around at night. I'm glad to know they're still around. Seeing them ride around Compton and Carson made me feel so good!

I grew up in Compton CA as a kid I'd watch them Cowboys riding down the tracks and it inspired me to get into horsemanship! 20yrs later I moved to San Bernardino Co and have a horse. It's like a dream that came true. Stay in the Bridal folks.....

I’m sorry but I was in ffa all years of high school, and it never offered rodeo. Rural southern Ohio. I’ve roped since 12, and had to join little britches and then national high school rodeo. My point is that it’s awesome that inner city youth have another choice besides the streets 🤠

I absolutely love Zeek. And I have watched him for a while now. I just fail to understand why it should matter to me if a cowboy/bull rider/rodeo performer is white, black, hispanic or other. Why should there race matter? Why should I be impressed that a cowboy is black? I see nothing wrong or new or irregular with it. So why are people trying to make it an issue? Why should race matter? Being a cowboy and doing rodeo's is not just a means to an end and a way to get out of low income or poverty. Its a way of live. It has a values system attached to it. Anyone who does not share those values will fail as a cowboy. Period. It has nothing to do with race. Thus why should "Compton Cowboys" matter to me? They are either producing the worlds best cowboys or they are not. Them being black should not affect that judgement. To me that is what it means to truly not he a racist. Cowboy up and produce good riders and you will earn your recognition, or dont. Your race does not change that measure.
