Really very impressive upgrade! Our company has developed a battery tray adapted to TXT, I wonder if you're interested.

Thank you and Thanks for watching Vassmotorsports, is it a stock replacement tray or for a lithium?

a guy on Ebay. just punch in ezgo txt controller and scan the list for the rebuild service. i believe his Ebay name was Desiel tech. thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos sometime and good luck with your project

Do you have the links for the forward reverse switch you used as well as the guy who upgraded the controller?

I have a two seater that we converted to a 4 seater. I added stronger leaf springs as well but it does not have a true "lift kit" installed. I recently put 6 brand new powertron golf cart batteries. When the batteries are fully charged, with a max weight of less than 500 pounds of people, the cart is getting a max range of 10 miles per fully charged. The batteries are less than 3 months old, and we were getting a lot longer distance with the older batteries. Do I have a bad battery, do I have a failing motor, suggestions? The cart also feels it has a short in it and will "beep" 3 times and stop running. You will have to release the pedal and reengage for it to go again. The startup acceleration is poor also.

thats really hard to diagnose with out seeing the cart in person to test a few things. could take a volt meter and check the batteries individually , once after full charge and again after a couple minute ride. they should all be very close in voltage and if one is bad youll be able to tell. , also make sure no wires are loose and can not turn any by hand as thats no good either. but you have me thinking it could be in the controller as the way it stops and beeps and stuff. thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos

@@Vassmotorsports I checked each battery individually. 5 of the 6 were reading 6.4 24+ hours post a “full” charge. One battery was reading 6.1. I rechecked while charging. 5 of the 6 showed 7.4 but the other one showed 6.8.

@@jonathanmansfield9302 the one at 6.1 is low and considered not good especially after charging and of you didn't drive it ,which sounds like you didn't, would like to know how they look if you did a quick ride maybe 2 minutes, wanna know how low that one drops compared to the others

who is the person on Ebay that rebuilds the controllers ?
Thanks for watching Vassmotorsports, sorry I don't but I bought everything on Ebay , the high torque motor( have to upgrade controller and everything else ) HD forward/ reverse switch, 400amp solenoid, 4 gauge cables ,new batteries (it needed anyway) and I sent controller to be upgraded but with this enormous hill it has killed the controller and sent back for warranty and it just went out again last week , it burned the inside of it up and I was afraid that the stock unit was not designed to handle the upgrade and the hill so I'm getting a Navitis 600amp aftermarket controller and I think that'll do the trick
@hashtagjustadad51107 ай бұрын
Good to know that the upgraded controller could not handle it. Let us know how the Navitas does.
@tdawg22005 ай бұрын
Anyway you could send me part numbers and contact to up grade control board. I have the exact same make and model ezgo and same issue and want to do these upgrades to mine. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you 🤙.

im sorry but i dont have specific part #'s but i got everything right on Ebay and you can find everything i used ,just shop for best price and seller with high scores , if you type in ezgo controller and scan the list you should see the guy that rebuilds them , and he is in Florida, think his name was Desiel tech or something of that nature , thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos sometime, that controller just wouldn't hold up to the larger high torque motor and the extreme hill and we decided to try a Navitas blue tooth 440amp series controller but ive still been having little trouble here and there with it , kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6TSe3ypZ9Z9o7Msi=qqqn_JFDirpIYtax
