Hi 1-can i use by spray gun 2- can i use for carbonfiber Thank you so much

Dear Adnan, thanks for the question. Sorry for my late response. unfortunately EZPOXY cannot be used by spray gun for carbon fiber as the epoxy resin is too thick to spray successfully. But you can coat the EZPOXY on the carbon fiber with excellent results.

Hi, I'm curious what ingredient can be used to modify resin so that it is permanently soft and reshape-able like clay. Is there a solvent for this that would do that?

One common ingredient used to modify resin to make it soft and reshape able like clay is a type of plasticizer. Plasticizers are substances added to plastics or resins to increase their flexibility, durability, and workability. One example of a plasticizer that can be used with resin is a type of phthalate-based plasticizer. These substances are often added to polymers to make them more pliable. However, it's important to note that some phthalates have been associated with health concerns, so it's crucial to choose a plasticizer that is safe for your intended use and to follow proper safety precautions when working with it. Another option is to use a softener specifically designed for resin. These products are formulated to soften resin and make it more malleable, similar to clay. They can often be found at craft stores or online. Always make sure to carefully follow any instructions provided with the plasticizer or softener and test the modified resin on a small scale before using it for larger projects to ensure it meets your needs and performs as expected. Additionally, consider the intended use of your modified resin and ensure that any additives you use are safe for that application. Here are some common plasticizers used with various types of resin: Phthalate-Based Plasticizers: These are among the most widely used plasticizers and are often used with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) resin. Examples include diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). However, it's important to note that some phthalates have health and environmental concerns associated with them, so it's essential to choose phthalates that are considered safe for your intended application. Adipates: Adipates are another group of plasticizers commonly used with PVC resin. Examples include di(2-ethylhexyl) adipate (DEHA) and diisononyl adipate (DINA). Adipates are often chosen as alternatives to phthalates due to their lower toxicity and better environmental profile. Trimellitates: Trimellitates are often used as alternatives to phthalates in applications where high-temperature resistance is required. Examples include trioctyl trimellitate (TOTM) and triisodecyl trimellitate (TIDTM). Epoxidized Oils: Epoxidized soybean oil (ESBO) and epoxidized linseed oil (ELO) are examples of epoxidized oils that can be used as plasticizers. These are often used as alternatives to phthalates in applications where a renewable and biodegradable option is preferred. Polymeric Plasticizers: These are high molecular weight plasticizers that are often used to improve the mechanical properties of resin formulations. Examples include polyesters and polyethers. Specialty Plasticizers: There are also specialty plasticizers available for specific applications, such as those designed for use with epoxy resins or polyurethane resins. I hope that answered your question. Best regards, Ed
