Mine is elevated so going to get the same valve & run hose going outside from it to drain after every use. Guess thats one of the benefits of having it elevated in my garage. Thanks for the idea !

Mine broke off too. I've heard tons of people that's happening to. They need to put the d*** valve next to the f****** tire.

That's a brass fitting on a steel tank... you seeing corrosion now 2 years later ?

Not one bit of corrosion. Brass goes fine with steel. It doesn't however go with "Stainless" steel. Then you'd see corrosion.

What I don't like about the McGraw compressors is the draincock isn't at the lowest point in the tank. The tank will always have some water in it unless you go to the extra step of tilting the compressor. I'd rather keep reaching a little farther under or installing street elbows and extensions like so many people do.
