I haven't found many, if any, videos on the Ford 4R70W showing Valvoline MaxLife being used. I'm planning to do a full exchange to MaxLife and Lubegard instead of Mercon V. I've read online forums where a few users have done so with great success, so I'm wondering about your experience with it. I believe Lubegard pairs well with MaxLife since it may help improve the viscosity index in case the ATF is too thin. Thanks for making the video 👍🏻

@@luso_overland I just finished a complete TCM/valve body replacement on a 2008 Ford Edge with a 6F50 transmission. According to Ford, it originally takes Mercon V, but there’s a TSB that updates it to Mercon LV. I did a full flush, not just a drain and fill, using Valvoline Extended Protection ATF. Let me tell you, it’s a step up from the regular Red Maxlife ATF. I still plan on adding Lubegard Platinum for good measure. Thanks for the reply! I’m also going to do a full flush and switch on my dad’s 2002 F150 with the new Extended Protection and Lubegard.👍🏻
