This video started my journey to fixing my 2015 F150. I had an intermittent metal on metal scratch/grinding noise when accelerating. I replaced my check valve with an aftermarket part, replaced my solenoid, both wheel bearings, both IWEs and couldn’t get rid of the noise. I then tried unplugging my check valve to force it into 4x4 and the sound went away. So after watching dozens of other videos I came back to this video and decided to try to buy the Ford check valve. Problem seems to be fixed. Thank you for this video I’ll be watching more of your videos for sure.

And after that you can replace the IWE's and wheel bearing hubs because those splines will be mushroomed from grinding. Occasionally one side will get hung up while the other disengaged, this causes one drive axle to spin with the tire and the other side to spin backwards very fast. I discovered that very expensive problem about 5K miles after warranty.

Quick question bro...props for killing it on the videos...i just came across the channel by looking for other techs at dealers on youtube which leads up to the question, have you had any back lash from ford?? I have and so has my dealer, recently recieved back lash from the manufacture for me making videos just as i was putting up abour 300k views a day
@mannys91302 жыл бұрын
I have always wondered this as well about you guys who do this. Criticizing and bad mouthing the company that you work for as well as their products while on the clock and wearing the uniform of your workplace seems to be begging for a collosal wrist slap that could even include termination. I would think that once Ford or the dealership became aware that an employee was doing this, they'd demand takedown of the videos at the risk of immediate termination and a slander lawsuit in the case of noncompliance (it would be more of a SLAP suit because Mayson clearly isn't lying about any of this stuff nor spreading unverified malicious rumors intended only to harm the company). I think it would be much safer to make this style of videos without the uniform on, without the name tag, without the dealer's name patch, and without showing your face. Even if you do show your face, it would be much more difficult for the employer to slam you for it because it would be on your own time. A lawyer could make a case for freedom of speech, but that still... If your state is a "right to work" state like mine is (Arizona), you can be fired for any non-protected reason and at any time without warning. Boss doesn't like you for some odd reason? Maybe he dislikes the sound of your voice? Terminated, based on performance concerns and the few tardiness incidents that he's been keeping a very detailed record of for a few weeks prior. That's it. Done. No recourse on your part unless you've got some seriously compelling proof that you were illegally discriminated against based on protected factors. I'm gay, and it's a very real, scary danger for people like me because a homophobic boss can toss us out at any time like that. They won't outright say it's because I like guys, but they probably could and still be within their practical abilities to fire me. At every job I've worked at, I've established a rapport with my coworkers and bosses and demonstrated that I'm a valuable member of the team BEFORE even thinking of coming out. That way if the boss is homophobic and will dislike me, it'll be hard to prove that I'm a bad employee and my termination would cause bad morale and discontentment with all the other coworkers. Anyway...I asked Project Farm if he had ever gotten legal threats, C&D demand letters, copyright claims, or even physical harm threats as a result of years of exposing multiple brands and products as pure shit. He said no, which absolutely blew my mind. 😸🤯 I wish you luck on your upcoming battle, Fluffy. I bet you're sad and your bubble's been popped, but you can always switch gears and make more anonymous videos and just private your previous ones. Your current subs will still watch new releases and should understand your predicament.
