Even until the month of November I thought it was very unlikely that we would see the F-15 in War Thunder this year... Then out of nowhere, it is here. This has to be one of the better looking later generation fighter jets and it was a pleasure to fly. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!

10:07 couldn't agree more here. Top tier combat isn't suited for such big teams, with radar and RWR and all kinds of missiles to worry about, a 12v12 is already excessive in terms of players IMO. Cutting it down to 8v8 or even a 4v4 for smaller maps would make it so much easier to actually enjoy the game, regardless of whether you win or lose

Fun fact: the air force was testing an ai drone system with a reward system similar to Bo's kohls cash idea, where the ai was rewarded for destroying its targets. Only issue with the program was that the ai got mad at its handlers for not letting it strike all the targets, so it learned to take down the handlers and then go after the enemies with impunity.

I googled the story you mentioned, and while I did come across a bunch of news and journalist sites talking about it, most of them mention that it was a thought experiment, not an actual military simulation. This was due to the USAF Chief of AI Tests and Operations, Tucker Hamilton, forgetting to mention that it was a hypothetical thought experiment while he was at the "Future Combat Air & Space Capabilities Summit" in London. That didn’t happen. If you get a basic understanding of computer programming you would know that computers do exactly what they are programmed to do and nothing else. AI learning is programmed. It can’t learn. It makes adjustments that were already programmed into it.

12v12 sounds like a decent idea tbh, although I like the full lobbies as well for easy ace in the gripen. One good thing with that plane is u trigger periodic cm when u start fighting, and u will not run out (assuming u take 6 aim9M)

Yeah 12v12 would be fantastic, but for squadrons (like yours) that would obliterate everyone else because 4 people communicating can easily take over 12 players of which nobody is communicating, 3 are strike aircrafts, 6 non stock jet, 1 crashes on runaway, 1 is doing challenges shooting at ground target and there's a single one actually trying to play. Fullstacks are OP in even a 16v16, that's how there are people with 90%WR in USA jets while the WR of USA teams are at an all time low.
