In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the F16 Viper flying at night with an F117 Nighthawk to a strike in a very well protected area, Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

Except the F-16 didn't carry the AIM-120 in GW1. It would have been AIM-9s only. That might have changed the mission a bit!

Well realistic for F-117 anyway, the f-16 carried the AIM-7 as well in GW1

@@donnieweston3249 I don't think it did. I think only certain ANG squadrons flew with the AIM-7 and they weren't in GW1 IIRC. But these are minor details. :)

A long shot rags brother. Awesome mission! I'm telling you I would have gunned the pilot that bailed out thinking that it was an aircraft covert with no flames. My eyes being what they are. I would have definitely gunned it the poor guy. Probably got penalized too but it is what it is. Awesome video! Awesome mission! They are getting better all the time. I was hoping to see more of the F117, how it flew in, hit it's targets etc. No external kinematics on this one, but I guess night time is a bid difficult for that...

Weren't they hard enough to see there were some near misses when friendly fighter pilots launched missiles dangerously close to F-117s they didn't realise were there? I remember laughing at a cg recreation from the F-117 pilot's POV as they made the screen move to simulate him shaking his head after the missile passes just over his cockpit.

You never will. That airframe will be classified beyond top secret till the end of this nation. And in it's last moments all specs and documents will be incinerated. Same with the Raptor and Fat Amy and all the other stealth airframes.

You need to change your helmet with the ground crew before take off. You will lose the helmet display as you can’t have both unfortunately.

@@OisinClissmann ah I think you’re right, I’ve not done many night missions and I haven’t used the F16 in a couple of months but now that you mention it I do remember it being like a typical NVG with a darkened outline, like you’re looking through a scope. I also think you need to refocus it depending on if you’re looking at the cockpit or outside? Regardless I still imagine that to have the NVG’s on, mod or no mod, it would require a helmet change with the ground crew
