Personally I think you should cut ties with the drag boat, and put the budget into the house boat content. Maybe a second house boat that can anchor down and attach to the one you have now to make them combine. Personally I LOVE the house boat content but also love all the content you put out. 💪🏻

Without a tear down it's hard to tell for sure, but the hole is in the oil pan which could mean you might get hella lucky and the block can be rebuilt.fastest way to tell would be to pull the engine and drop the pan to see what really happened and to see if the block can be saved or not.

@@ScaleNationRC oh that’s great! I could’ve swore I heard him say it was getting a turbo charged V8 so I naturally took that as a Gas engine. I’m just use to seeing inline 6 diesel engines in boats. Glad you guys are going back with a diesel. You see too many people taking a boat that was designed by engineers and designers build a boat with a diesel or diesels and they get replaced with gas engines while still using the same gearbox and propeller. I had one on the dash of my pickup truck and the work van that we didn't drive everyday. You can probably find them at any auto parts. The van was parked inside but under a skylight and that was enough light to keep the trickle charge going. We put one on the forklift also.

I've rebuilt a 1969 flatbottom V-Drive and it was a blast to drive. You need a lot of power and a really good hull on a flatbottom to make them go over 100 mph but the V-Drive boats are really quick and if the V-Drive gear box is geared right with a lot of horsepower they can be really fast. I'd like to see you rebuild the 454 to 500 - 700 HP and race them.
