The F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II are two of the most advanced military aircraft in the world. The F-22 Raptor is a fifth-generation fighter jet designed for air superiority and ground attack missions. It features advanced stealth technology, high-speed maneuverability, and sophisticated weapons systems.
The F-35 Lightning II is a fifth-generation fighter jet designed for multi-role missions, including air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. It also incorporates advanced stealth technology, as well as advanced sensors and avionics.
Both the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II represent the pinnacle of modern aviation technology. They are capable of flying at supersonic speeds and are highly maneuverable, making them ideal for a wide range of missions. Whether engaging in air combat or conducting precision strikes against ground targets, these fighter jets are among the most capable aircraft in the world.

I am not a defense expert or an aeronautical engineer, but this aircraft alongside being stealthy is also very beautiful or pleasing to look at. It seems that it was designed to have a balanced looks.

The F-22 is more beautiful than the YF-23 from the front, sides, and the rears; while the YF-23 is only beautiful from the top.

Man I remember those days back in the early 80's. America was emerging from its post Vietnam lack of self confidence, malaise, and hand wringing that was threatening its ability to protect the free world from relentless communist expansion. Reagan came in with a goal to roll back the communist threat and instill patriotism back into Americans. As a young teenager I was following up on the unprecedented and massive defense buildup, back in those days you had to be reading up Newsweek and Time magazines and especially Aviation Week and Aerospace magazine, occasionally Popular Mechanics and Popular Science might drop something interesting. The myriad of new weapons systems were incredible, the first set of avionics and technology upgrades with look down shoot down all weather capabilities were being applied to the F-14 F-15 F-16 and A-10 combat aircraft with legacy 1960's Cold War air frames also being upgraded. What was even most intriguing were hints of this new thing called 'Stealth' with all the aircraft manufacturers showing hypothetical conceptual artwork of what would be their own high tech stealth fighters. As much as those days were very tense, those were fun times. People made sure to enjoy themselves as everyday may be the last day before a thermonuclear exchange. I still remember apocalyptic names like MX missile with MIRV warheads, Minuteman, Midgetman, Pershing 2, Polaris, Trident. Soviet SS-18, SS-19, and SS-20 missiles.

Take the yf-23 shorten the nose ,,, make it smaller . Anyway I can build it. Won't be exactly like it . But I can build it. And with 2 guns one on each side. Just to even . I would also like to do something like take a F4u5 Corsair put a jet engine in it ,,,, and you have a very tough ground support aircraft like the A 10 Thunderbolt.

F 22が高価格で配備制限されたからF 16の未来型を単発可変ノズル付きステルス戦闘機を開発した方がアメリカ財政の助けにもなるでしょう‼️笑🤣

But the F22 was ment to be a superiority fighter. You can't put it in a small F16 type of frame. As it is, it doesn't look like anybody is able to make something better then that anytime soon, and by then the USA will have true 6th generation fighter.

let me sum it up for you: the f 22 sucks because it's too expensive. same mistake as germany in ww2. the f 35 sucks because it only has one engine. ridiculous. as for the f 35, the only good thing on that one is that boeing didn't get the job because they suck too.
