Now obviously this isn’t real life. But even in concept, to see how stealth affects the outcome is incredible. He has arguably a better radar, had better resources, twice as many missiles and I think even more than just twice, and yet in those final critical moments where it was essentially a fair joust, his missiles lost lock, and yours didn’t. There’s something to be said about modern tech and sheer firepower. But in the end we figured it out over 20 years ago. Stealth is clearly what gives you the edge in the air.

@corybrown219711 ай бұрын
@@recoilrob324 well he’s also defending. The farther away you are the harder it is for the missile to maintain lock and hit the target. There are certain ranges where it should be a sure fire kill. Unless you can break the missiles lock and it loses you for even a split second, which can cause it to miss. But at that range and altitude there was nothing he could really do. Maybe if he was lower he could force the missile to hit the ground as it tried to lead him, but he was too high, and at that range there’s no time to defend properly. In fact if GS wasn’t in a raptor it’s likely he would have been hit in that last engagement too. It would have been a trade.
