Amazing achievement !!! I congratulate you, Mo Niemczuk, on this excellent and figurative analysis !!! Beside technique issues, Etude no 4, op 10, is a real miracle of rigorous and imposing style, full of balanced power and titanic strength. It is also often called by its nickname, "TORRENT", due to its tremendous coda which culminates by ruining down any physical or mental resistance for pianists and auditors. In my opinion, once this etude is carefully listened and examined, no-one can, by any means, get rid of its magic prime and wild beauty !!! No solution exists for the "victims", other than yielding to its attractive magnetism for a life-time !!!

This was the best analysis I have seen so far about this etude! This is probably my favorite chopin etude. You did a great job explaining the "battle" of the two hands and how they are pushing and challenging each other. It was surely not easy to talk and to play at the same time. I would *LOVE* a series on Bach’s Inventions or Well-Tempered Clavier. Although I have literally the highest respect for Chopin, I do not share his passion for Bach. I find it very beautiful and stimulating… but I like Chopin more. I’m sure that with your analysis I would happily, as you could, move from Chopin to - perhaps - his master, Bach.
