I love your method. I am very lazy, try not to consume too much time in the kitchen. So, I use the pressure cooker to cook it. At the same time, I don't have to spend so much time standing in front of the stove to check, stir and monitor the progress when cooking it. The result from the pressure cooker is not bad, if one is not fussy or too demanding on the result and quality. 😂 Thank you for sharing the knowledge, value and quality of the orange peel.

Soak over night to achieve faster cook time. To reduce more time 30 mins. Cook in pressure cooker 1 hour. Put in dry longan and cube sweet purple potatoes, and sago, red bean soup will taste much much better. Put rock sugar instead of sugar.
Wow gotta go dig out my old tangerine peels then. I bought 2 bags of 5yrs old ones about 15 yrs ago. I only put a wee bit at a time coz the smell is super strong. So i think now they’re 20yrs old. Wowowow... i gotta make me this dish w/ them. Martin, don’t you add 莲子百合 in your 红豆沙?
