@Eric Chan just for sharing .. I used to buy these Hakka dishes ready made and frozen. The label for the other famous and popular dish "Pork Belly and Yam " is " 好意头扣肉 ".

@Eric Chan Marketing gimmicks , more for those who are more conscious of names at festival days ... there are different dialect groups in my surroundings ..the rhyme of such names are not all the same... moreover , not all folks are particular ...

in the 60s, I was a child & ate this dish in Guangzhou, GuangDong.... Have not seen it more than 50 years... next time if I have the chance to visit China & must try it..hehe de Miami, Florida...
