I love how the game cock-teases him too. Crits the Alakazam then paralyzes it the turn after, pretty much single-handily giving him the win (or so he thought). Not only does Werster not get the 50% para on the Alakazam but it also crits the Jolteon before he gets the 1/256 miss on Tbolt, pretty much giving the Alakazam the opportunity to finish the Jolteon off. This is like almost getting first place in a long run marathon then suddenly out of nowhere your leg decides to break during the last few steps, completely shattering what chance of victory you once had. Indeed. Fuck. This. Game.
