Yay Lucy! In the F ZERO GP LEGEND game she was my favourite racer, her machine had amazing grip and control and I won all the toughest time trial missions with her. I love Black Shadow in this episode. Not only does he foil Zoda's plot to kill Miss Killer but he also does it with such amazing theatrics! Black shadow is so much fun.

One question I have with this episode How did Lucy win? They say that Lucy went the furthest in the race before it got cancelled but I'm pretty sure Ryu, Captain Falcon and Mrs Killer were all in the lead when the race ended.

what i don't like about this animated rendition: - Racetrack scenes: they are most of the time straight lines, bad machine positioning, low path detail, machines don't have that iconic (and awesome) smoke out their jets, but still they show on boosts - Boobs - Shoulder plates, shoulder plates everywhere - "alien/robotic" characters don't have any kind of voice distortion, so they sound unusual for their kind - The announcer (Mr. Zero?)'s voice sounds far too excited, or he likes to do his job what i liked so far to this episode: - The racetrack: it's from F-Zero GX/AX, it's "Outer Space - Meteor Stream", it's very accurate to the original, counting with the tunnel from the start, it's sudden twist, the gap/jump at the end of it, the fork after that jump - the "false Black Bull" explosion has been the best crash scene so far - Pico's aim - The machine models, and the humming sounds they add on "in-the-cockpit" close-ups - The machine drawings used mostly in "out-of-race" scenes - Actual references to the machines numbers and their Boost-Grip-Body classes - Bart's "glossary" (i started to call him like that, i can't read Kanji, or Hiragana, but katakana) ANYWAYS, i don't have any excuse to quit watching this :3 THANKS for uploading

Two things: 1. The shoulder plates indicate character affiliations, or at least the Mobile Task Force’s do. Captain Falcon and Miss Killer have them just cuz, though in their defense they need to be ready for hand to hand combat. 2. What’s wrong with the announcer being excited? ...This episode was stupid. I mean, REALLY stupid. It's the first time Black Shadow - the ACTUAL Main Antagonist for the series - FINALLY does something...and what does it amount to? A whole lotta pointless... First he sends a...projection/hologram of himself just to intimidate Zoda...for some reason. Then he sends himself out onto the track in the Black Bull...for some reason. But instead of trying to kill Ryu and Captain Falcon - which is what a smart villain driving a nigh indestructible, seemingly unstoppable, F-Zero machine that is CLEARLY more powerful than all the others would do - he instead tries to...Save Miss Moon Killer? Why? This series has basically set precedence that death doesn't exist in this universe, I doubt she'd have been hurt - had she known to just hit the damn brakes!!! So...the Blackbull that sends her into a tail-spin takes the meteor for her...y'know...instead of ramming her so hard at such a top speed, that they BOTH avoid the meteor impact... But as it turns out, THAT Blackbull is actually a decoy...piloted by a robot made-up to look like Black Bull...Just so that Ryu can witness that Terminator-Esque moment, that literally goes NOWHERE...You already set precedence that Black Shadow can either teleport, or simply project copies of himself to other places...The Robot is literally unnecessary. So the REAL Black Shadow in the REAL Black Bull, comes up behind Moon Killer, and they both drive-off, with Captain Falcon following them...So...is he trying to win the race now? And the race ends before we see what happened to them...SO WHERE DID THEY GO?! And somehow...after all of that...Lucy is the one who wins the Race by being in the lead when the race was cancelled? Look, I like Lucy, but I have to call BULLSHIT on that. Lucy wasn't even a contender in the race anymore after Black Bull showed up. Are you seriously telling me, that Jack, Ryu, Falcon, and Moon Killer, DIDN'T already have a significant lead on the other drivers, to the point where they would LONG since be ahead by the time the race ended? Are you seriously telling me that while Ryu has stopped Dragon Bird (brilliant name I might add), in order to examine Terminator-Shadow in the fake Black Bull, that all the other drivers were just passing by him?! And wasn't the last time we saw Lucy was when she had to stop to narrowly avoid falling through a hole in the track? How did she make up THAT lost time? And why does Zoda keep wearing a mask? He's already a known fugitive working for a criminal organization; it's not like he has to HIDE his face. In fact, the only reason why the - ahem - "cops" in this universe don't arrest him, is that they can't find him outside of the races, and the Race Commissioners are too apathetic to care who he is and what he does. But then again, maybe if the "cops" in this show did some actual POLICE WORK instead of being Formula-1 Celebrities, they'd actually have CAUGHT him by now. But again, about the mask...how is even supposed to WEAR that? The face is an easy part...but what about that huge tube that extends from the top of his head, to the right side of his chest? The sleeve of that mask of his, is actually sleeved onto that tube... So my question is, HOW did he get the mask on it?! Black Shadow established near the end that the Tube is carrying some kind of fluid throughout Zoda's body, so my guess is having the tube is essential for Zoda to live; kind of like life-support. So removing it would probably be hazardous to his health. Like I said - this show has far too many pointless plot points, and it hasn't answered any of the BIG questions yet.

Black Shadow knows that he won’t be able to kill Falcon and wasting his time trying to now won’t work, and keeping Miss Killer alive both helps him deal with Ryu Suzaku and helps him get the Reactor Mights. Black Shadow can’t teleport, he can just send holograms. He needed the robot because a hologram cannot pilot a machine. Jack fell behind while racing Miss Killer. Lucy wasn’t the one who stopped because of the holes, EAD was. Every single racer except for Lucy and Ryu either left the track (Falcon, Miss Killer, Black Shadow) or were knocked out by Black Bull (Jack, Octoman). Ryu stopped, allowing for Lucy to get ahead of him. Considering Zoda rips off the mask while the cops are right there, Zoda wears the mask because he wants to wear the mask. The tube isn’t life support, it feeds him adrenaline. The only question you asked that wasn’t already answered (granted, the adrenaline part is only stated in GX), was where Falcon, Black Shadow and Miss Killer went.

Black Shadow was honestly fucking awesome being introduced here. Using holograms and robot doubles to trick everyone shows he’s a villain that plans ahead, and him saving Miss Killer from the path of the meteor shows that he values (some) of his minions and won’t just arrogantly send them to die
