F1 2009 psp Gameplay

Everyone shut up about the graphics. The Wii version had only slightly better graphics. The game is fun! Better than F1 2015.

Well, I haven't played it, though now that I know Sumo Digital was involved with it (I loved All-Stars Racing and OutRun 2006, both made by them), I might give it a try. Though one thing I noticed is that the engine sounds are WAY off. They were way off in F1 2006 PS2, but at least they were still believable. These cars sound like 1996 cars rather than 2009 cars.

@PilotJohnSilver F1 2009 was published by Codemasters but made by Sumo Digital. F1 2010 and 2011 are made inside Codemasters.

Never played F1 2009 before. But its definitely good although not as great as F1 2018.

F1 06 is Sony's second game, their first was F1 grand prix, and the laptimes then were very unrealistic. But they learnt from it and F1 06 was a big sucess. So i believe since this is Codemasters first game, we shud be able to see more in F1 2010.

it has a challenge mode in which you would have to overtake a certain number of opponents, complete a hot lap, or stay ahead in wet conditions on dry tires ,as well as a 3 year career mode.

Yes I am serious, this is a game made by Codemasters. This is game was developed for the PSP and the Wii, two very different consoles with different coding structures. And for the time they had to develop these games, they've done a good job, enough to keep me going until F1 2010, where they will be coding in familiar territory. Remember this isn't for the PS3, this is for PSP. Don't think the PS3, 360 or PC version will handle anything like this as this is more of an Arcade game.

Yes, and the gameplay is a lot worse too. The only thing I like about this game is that it was the only F1 game until 2014 that has Kimi in a Ferrari 😁

in codemasters defense, GT for the PSP looks pretty average too. And lets remember too that this is on a hand held platform people.

actually the game is not bad at all. It's better than I expected for a PSP game. Not as good as GT tough. I've got high hopes for the PS3 version of the F1 2010 season.

i agree with number 1 and 2, but sony used the real martin brundle and james allen for their game, while codemasters used someone else, and f106 on the psp sounds didnt sound like the cars in 2006 when it comes to revs(however that is fixed for f1ce) but in this they rev to the corect 18,000 rpm. f1 06 was a better overall game, but this should be more fun over a long term, as f106 only had a career, but this also has challenges to keep you busy

Hey, the pixel will look better in psp, becos the screen is smaller. As for the sound, cannot help it. I think this is recorded with Remote Joy, so the graphics are not very good. But on the psp it will be better.

can u gv me some tips for turning? cos im not sure if i really nid to break.. when i am at 6 gear i wan to go to mayb 3rd gear i press break and de speed go down so much dat i hv to change to 1st gear but if i dont break i just change the gear and turn the speed went just nice but its very difficult without driving lines

hey remember its there first game like this so there is bound to be misktakes. lets just hope they will do better next time or the ps3 one will be better i think thats why the have not released it yet. let out the psp one learne from mistakes and improve on ps3 version

You go too much over the kerbs, try to avoid them, just follow the dark line on the track, and do not use "shorcuts" in the outside of the track, your timings will improve PD: Spaniard... sorry 'bout my english xD

i found that tuning the car is complicated :( i hate that , i try to slow down on corners and use the kers , but it's difficult
