When I do my race sim in practice I'll keep the temp. menu up and adjust tyre pressure and roll bars to keep the tyres cool over a few laps. Really helped me out at tracks like this.

The only thing woth mentioning for this track that I saw immediately when you drive is you never turn into the double corner as the first car you always take the corner as a second car racingline... or outer racing line, the turn-in point is right between corners so you have to lie right on the kerbs for potential apex. Also never try to overtake in a weak corner gain maximum momentum in the exit of the 2nd corner and then overtake.

I found that on the race starts, a fair few of the grid do a Bottas and either get a perfect start, or jump it a bit, stop then go again, so the starts can be chaos

Tiametmarduk I have a tip for you at the start. You need to have rich mix and overtake on and then as soon as you launch sift up to 4th gear straight away and since I have done that I have always gained positions from the starts. You may bog down slightly but you will gain way better traction than the AI and you will be able to go into turn one with way better speed

Fun fact: Each new Spec you get for a certain department the things upgrade (That is just cosmetic) Example: Aero department spec 1 just a little hose thing. spec 2 an ok wind tunnel. spec 3 A good wind tunnel Example 2: Whatever the driver department is called spec 1 one monitor. Spec 2 three monitors and better setup overall. Spec 3 Idk haven’t unlocked that yet

It's true in the US Grand Prix, the tyre temps shoot up after 3 laps, happened in my career mode too, causing me to switch to hards and switch the strategy

It’s sector 1 of Austin, they’ve changed it from last year so you can’t hold anywhere near as much speed in the S’s and the 2 corners after that compared to the AI, you’ll probably find sectors 2 and 3 really easy I know I do compared to sector 1

I noticed that too, sometimes I had worse laps and yet was faster in later quali sessions. Maybe the logic is, that later on you release all of your power? But that would mainly apply to top teams. Could also be my Imagination
