PSL, I have been subbed to your channel for a few years but I never commented. I've been a subscriber since I wanna say episode 18 (?) of the Grand Prix World series. Anyway, I saw that you are working for The Race now when the F1 2021 review came into my recommended. I just wanted to say I'm happy for you and I always admired your no nonsense, articulate reviews/videos. It's a breath of fresh air in the F1 gaming community where you still give the game fair criticism despite getting early copies and having contact with Codemasters. Cheers!

Why is the damage model not working in my F1 2021, I mean the side pod and rear wing don’t get any damage

As far as I know. If your not running sim damage you won't get rear wing and side pod damage. However, I could be wrong and there could be rear wing and side pod damage on Standard (doubt it for Reduced) but is really hard to get and you have to like a fatal crash sort of thing because it is that hard to get rear wind and side pod damage on Standard. Also I know I am miles late with this seeing how F1 2022 came out like 3 weeks ago but eh who cares tbh

Just buy F1 2020, Alastor, it's the exact same game but cheaper and with classic cars included.

The majority of the crashes were caused by me as the player but: 0:53, 3:40 - Was a genuine accident in a career mode race because I just didn’t know Hamilton was that close behind me when I turned into him 1:03, 2:13, 4:06 - AI 1:07 - Meant to be a reference to Mazepin’s spin in the Bahrain GP but it went slightly differently when I tried to replicate it 2:05, 2:39, 3:23, 4:02 - Onboard with an AI driver but the initial pile up was started by me 2:20, 3:59 - A reference to Leclerc’s qualifying crash in Monaco this year 2:31 - The crashed McLaren was caused by me but the follow up crashes with the Alpine and Haas were both AI drivers

AI makes mistakes more. In my team mode for example in first two races ocon crashed with someone after AI made mistakes
