In all fairness to Red Bull, it's a damn good livery, and there's no point in fucking with a good thing especially when you're on a roll. I'm tempted to agree with you about the gloss, but part of me feels like I'm just tired of the matte finish because of recency. But perhaps that would have been a great opportunity to spice it up a little while also doing a bit of a throwback. I actually liked the Stake livery when I first saw it, and I think the green color is bold. Polarizing for sure, but I personally like it a lot. However, looking back at it now, I'm already lamenting that they didn't paint more of the car. Which is a bit weird to say about such a strong color (it's so easy to add just a little to make it too much). This year's car launches for me are a strange mixture of disappointment and excitement. Disappointing because there's way too much carbon, but exciting primarily because Red Bull seems to have significantly changed their car design while everyone else is just launching a copy of the RB19.

Much disappointment to be had. The RB livery is a nice livery. It's very recognisable by now. I find that matt blue sexy and I take the current one any day over the older ones. It has also become a lot cleaner with less sponsors. At this stage it would be like complaining about Ferrari always having a red car.

Im curious to see if all the carbon is actually going to make it hard to see which is which or not on track. Especially during rain races or from further away. Green will be green, red will be red. But black/grey/white can be confusing on my tiny screen

The one we are in complete disagreement on is Stake. I love that neon green, because it stings your eyes - and because it'll be a dollop of color in a very carbon field. The Stake cars will be the most visible, that's for sure. It'll be a bit of a shame that that only enhances the back third of the field, but eh - better than all cars looking the same. 🙂

Honestly. Stake. I dunno why, but I actually love it. First saw it on the track during testing and it's so loud it's just great. On the inverse it's not the worst for me, but I'm disappointed in RB's. I was hoping they'd continue with a similar style line way Alpha had last year
