Abs and Traction control are on too. But it's a great looking time in vr.. I only play with a wheel on xbox.. I too run cockpit. Was in a no-assists 100% all in cockpit view league for a while. Fun league races for sure.. unfortunately, it fizzled out..

Amazing setup and driving! I always keep the lap time (just for the delta in case of SC) and the mini map to see when the others pit, took me a while to get used to driving from the cockpit view but that's more enjoyable :)

Are you still using TrackIr? When I pull up my MFD in F1 23, Track Ir stops until I hide it again. F1 22 had no problem with this. Do you just turn off the MFD altogether? How do you know where you brake bias or Diff adjustment is set to? Thanks.

Hey mate! Love your videos! Do you experience any latency with the TrackIR? I tried head tracking through my webcam with Opentrack, and the movements work as I hoped, but it's too much latency for it to be a smooth experience, so looking for other options

Webcams and phones typically have a lot of lag. They aren't designed for realtime sync with a computer like the trackIR is. track IR operates at 240hz, up to 230fps offering 24ms latency. Many webcams are betwen 200 and 300ms and have a significant delay.

It's TrackIR not VR. Still uses your display. It's head tracking, so when you move your head, it does the same movement in game. Only you have a lot of control, So you can set it to multiply the angle of your head movements. 5 degrees of your head might translate to 15 degrees in the game, gives the impression of VR, lets you move your head in game without looking away from the monitor.

It's a shame the radio calls are so bad. They really break the immersion. I dont know why they always get this so wrong. The bad voice acting is understandable but there's no excuse for the lines to be so bad if immersion is what they are going for. In what world does a race engineer tell a driver to watch for the lights while they are sat on the grid... waiting for the lights.
