The Richmond & Gordon Trophies feature the front and rear-engined F1 cars that raced through the latter half of the 1950s when Formula 1 was undergoing its rear-engined revolution. Front-engined cars from Ferrari and Maserati battle rear-engined types from Lotus and Cooper. It creates a spectacular showcase of the greatest era of F1 change and in the wet it seemed even more spectacular at the Goodwood Revival.
