My main problem in the wet is locking up the brakes. The tiniest amount of pressure and the tyres scream. Can you do some wet set up vids? Great vid.
@RWoody1995
@RWoody1995 7 жыл бұрын
reduce the pressure a lot in setup ^_^
@SidVish
@SidVish 7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've had break pressure at 65 dropped it to 52/54. Lots better. Cheers :)

ooh that was already kinda low, but ok, cool so long as the brakes do still sometimes lock up when your not careful, else you don't get the most out of the brakes during the initial push when you still have downforce
@SidVish
@SidVish 7 жыл бұрын
Its low but the same as dude above. In fact mine was somewhat higher than most youtubers after researching lol. Im on a pad.. soon to be moving to wheel. See how that goes? lol

great video thanks! But funny too see, that the Braking style i adopted as a reaction of constant lockups and super slow cornering times is called trail-braking and is exactly the right thing to do! :)

Do you run your transmission much different in wet vs dry? Looked like you're running 70 instead of 50

Is transmission something which you adjust according to your driving style? Or according to the track your racing on? Shouldn't one adjust their driving style, when a different transmission setup is quicker?

This might sound odd but I am more consistent and faster then the AI in regards to wet tracks then I am with dry. Dry tracks just seem harder for some odd reason. This doesn't mean I am faster on wet then Dry, I just drive better on wet ones.

ThyBountyHunter same, AI is very slow in wet compared to dry

Very true its annoying tbh. I should not win in in the wet with the same Haas i normally get no better than 7th or 8th

AI is very slow in wet comparing to games before 2016 where they were insanely faster and had so much more grip

Pretty helpfull video! Thanks! Id love to see a video in which u exactly explain how to setup a car in the wet. Propably u could even compare wet and dry setups. I got some issues with the steering in the wet. Thats something id like to change. Ur steering seems pretty easy in the wet. Cheers

JD Congrats on 30k. Would you do a video comparing the cars between the different teams? Your setups are great, but mostly focused on the Mercs. How does your setups for Mercs translate to the lesser teams chassis? I thought this might be a good topic for some videos.

Hi JD. I hear you say that Ballast works this way , Ballast of 11 is Max Front and Oversteer , and the Opposite is true . But on the Setup Screen 11 is the max setting for REAR ? Or am I understanding the Graphic wrong ?

I have downloaded the F1 2017 demo for PS4, and the Melbourne race is fucked up. In the final race it starts to rain after 6 laps. My team says I can keep on driving on the slicks a little more. After 3 laps they tell me rain tires are ready for me. I pit, and they put on fucking slicks. I drive one more lap, then I need to change tires AGAIN. I pit again - they put on slicks. This demo is impossible to play....

I have an Xbox One. I would stay away from it. Ive just used Xbox and Microsoft products all my life so i would just feel weird not using it but for someone new id go with PS4. You also say youre trying to be cheap and as far as ik you dont need to pay to have an online account for Ps4 whereas you do need to with xbox

Off topic question relative to the video but does anyone know if the online servers for PC and console are separate? Do PC and console players race together(Cross platform)? Do Eggbox and PlasticStation players race together? Thanks.
