@@veryvalery Sure, me: good morning Sir CO: (No reply) after looking at his computer for 1 min (i got my b2 rejected back in 2017, he was probably looking at my history) CO: Hello, please pass me your passport, i20, ds160 and your sevis reciept Me: (did that) Co: when did you graduate and what was your major, Me: i graduated in 2015 and my major was finance Co: what you were doing since then Me: i was working in XXXX as market risk research analyst Co: why SUNY Buffalo? me: (told him about its rank and my program) Co: who is funding you? Me: my father is funding me and i also have secured student loan Co: alright please put your finger here , i am approving your visa, you will be informed when you can collect your passport, Me: thanks alot sir CO: have a nice day (straight face) ... :D

I know a person (not personally) who got his visa approved , and he had some community college in newyork. Although atleast in india, people with community college admits are asked more questions..like "you have far better colleges than this in india itself, why do u wana go to this college?" .. so if the answer suffice them..they will approve..the thing to understand here is, if ur home country has a good higher education infrastructure, and yet u chose some community college in US, then it might be a little tricky

you need proof of an english profficiency. 99% of the community colleges ask for the results of an english test or else you cant apply. also staying in america with a tourist visa after your vacation days is illegal so you wouldnt be able to aply for an f1 visa while you are there, its the only visa which status cant be changed inside the country. you need to go to your country do the legal processes there and then once you are done with that go back to the us.
