The fact that many people here were born after he died, but are still able to acknowledge his legendary status is proof of how superhuman he was. He was not an ordinary man.
@kevinprengemann7456
@kevinprengemann7456 Ай бұрын
Dude, get back to reality please. The best he could do, was driving the car on its physical limits, not more. And he was not the only one who was able to do that in the history of formula 1.
@opper4325
@opper4325 Ай бұрын
@@kevinprengemann7456 are you sure about that? Because everyone who knew him at the time, driver or not, would describe him as out of the ordinary. His perception of the limit, his consistency in pace, his speed in qualifying. His natural talent. He was superior to the others. Prost was a computer, a racing genius who converted his intelligence into racecraft. But that was all conscious. It was voluntary. Senna didn't even need to do that. It came naturally to him. To me, that's the definition of raw superior talent.

Think of it this way I suppose. If Schumacher, Hamilton, Vettel died on track, we would all be saying the same things we are here about Senna. Its the story and knowing the ending that is captivating.

Senna wore his "hero" title on his sleeve. For him, it was a matter of responsibility to be the best, because by being the best, he could help more people. Ayrton Senna will never be forgotten. After thirty years, the world remembers with love this pilot who was the best pilot of all time. He was a genius. What differentiates a genius from a champion? A genius champion must do unexpected things. It must be an artist who brings something original. Senna turned his driving style into art. A genius must, when he least expects it, pull a card out of his sleeve. Him doing what he is expected to do, even if it is a fantastic, phenomenal thing, is not enough. It's not enough for him to do something that we saw he could do. He has to do something that we would never have imagined could be done. Senna was like that. He did unimaginable, stupendous things. That was his charm. Senna brought magic to F1. Hero? Yes! Who doesn't remember his heroic gesture when he stopped his car to save Frenchman Éric Comas who was unconscious but with his foot on the accelerator after the accident? On the track he was a phenomenon and off the track he was a spectacular human being who helped and continues to help millions of young people through the Ayrton Senna Institute. A man who loved his country and showed that "A son of Brazil does not run away from the fight". He managed to build a social phenomenon of bringing families together to watch his races together. He transformed formula1 into a sport that grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren learned to love. However, everyone gathered was not exactly to watch F1 but to support him, Ayrton Senna. He gave a lot of joy to his fans around the world. With him people laughed, cried, cheered, suffered and felt like champions together with him in each achievement. Yes, Senna was a social phenomenon. A legend that will be told from generation to generation. Something that will not be repeated in the history of F1. A huge thank you for so much and for everything you did for us, Ayrton Senna da Silva.

From then on, any race, any piece of info, history , documentary absolutely anything about Senna. I devoured! The greatness that is Aryton Senna will never be matched! From the way he raced, how he could feel the track, the car. Too his knowledge and experience with mechanics through his early racing days. His humanitarian efforts and the love he had for his people and his country. Will never be copied. The one and only Aryton Senna. The Greatest Of All Time.

It’s crazy this was posted, I’m very new to F1 and was looking this accident up just yesterday morning. I first knew who Senna was AFTER McLaren made the car just cause I wasn’t a F1 fan. There was a very young man who had passed away the day before on the same course, his name was Roland Ratzenberger. Inside of Aryton Senna car there was a Austrian Flag rolled up in the door pocket, which he planned to wave in Memory of the young man who passed just a day before and he never got the chance. That’s what hit me the most.

Senna did a lot of things that a lot of people don't, and not to get sympathy from others, but because that's the kind of person he was. After Ratzenberger's accident, he didn't get into the car and was at the hospital an hour later to find out if he was alive and didn't even recognize him when the doctor shook his head and said it was sadly over. he came out of the hospital without a word, head down. It is quite certain that he would have gone to Austria for his funeral.

I was 7 years old when the great Ayrton Senna passed away that day at Imola. Still remember watching back in Brazil, not quite understanding the impact of that day, but remembering a somber quiet feeling in the room as we watched it unfold on television. My dad used to wake up early in the morning on race day, not to watch F1, but to watch Senna. He was a phenomenon.. The likes of which we likely will never see again, and have seen very seldom in ANY sport. A true genius of his craft, taken at just 34 years young. His legacy does absolutely live on, and will continue to do so. He redefined racing in the 80's and 90's, improved safety for drivers, even at the expense of his own life, but the way he raced is what has remained branded in the minds of those who saw him live. Thank you for this tribute Viviane! Your brother truly was one of a kind, and he remains one of my main sports heroes until this day. Muito obrigado pelas memorias campeao! 🙏🙏

One of the first memories that I have of my mother crying was this day in 94. I was just a kid and did not even like racing (I still don't). It took me a decade or so to understand why she cried so much. What a legend!

The master of the wet circuit. Never to be bettered. It is 30 years today since the passing of my hero. In his honor I have not watched a single F1 race since that fateful day. There just is no one worth watching after he left. May your name go down in history Ayrton for as long as the human race still has a history. I salute your memory and the person you were sir.

As a fan born in the V10 era and always saying to myself Michael Schumacher is the best driver in the world. I can finally understand why Senna had the most potential in his career on why it made him successful and made an imapct of the fastest single seater motorsport in the entire world. It's not just driving for him. Its always his passion.

She speaks so well. I speak Spanish, which is very similar, but I've never learned Portuguese (I just picked up bits of it from several trips to Brazil). She speaks in such a calm and clear manner that I was able to understand things pretty well without having to rely on the subtitles.
