Fantastic job! The body lines are like straight as arrows, they line up great.

Hey Eric...Have enjoyed all your videos to date, on your build....And you've given me ideas on what to plan on,, as well as what I'll need to try and modify for my future build.... I have been planing on doing a Chassis swap as you have done but with a '73-'79 F-100 swb... I know these Truck cabs are deeper from firewall to backwall for more legroom.. and I'm hoping it'll close up the Gap between the cab back and bed front... The only thing I know I'll be doing differently from your design is,, I want my Bed Floor to be flat,, just like from the factory... So going by what you did,, it looks like I'm going to have to raise the whole body higher off the frame at all mounting points... Congrat's on everything thats been going on there....Post more when you can...

Hi Moe, Thank you for the kind words and I'm glad that my videos have helped you plan your own build. Honestly that was my intention from the beginning. I know I watched some vids and loved what they did, so I put the idea in my pocket. I saw others that made me cringe, and I stashed that image in my "what not to do" container. Hopefully my vids aren't in the latter! Lol As far as your bed dilemma goes, you really need to pick what's most important to you. The CV/GM rear suspension is quite good with its 4-link & watts link. Add in the four wheel disk brakes and EFI fuel system intact and it was an easy decision for me to sacrifice the bed floor. If I did want to keep the bed intact (which would be nice), I would probably just put the CV/GM front suspension on the Effie frame and then get an aftermarket 4-Link system to get the rear end down and handling better. Good luck with your build! Maybe you'll be the guy that comes up with the best of both worlds and have a bunch of us saying "why didn't I think of that" lol

I have a very important question, did you eliminate the entire airbag system?

Smithy's glass packs are not as obnoxious as the other kind. They have a really deep mellow sound. I have those on my truck and they settle down at highway speeds, but announce your presence when you accelerate briskly. I prefer this sound to flowmasters

At first, I thought you'd used that app that I recommended, but I realized you couldn't have known that my name was Wayne.
