How do you change the yellow valve if the leak is coming from there? I detached it from the coolant Reservoir but cant detach the other end.

After looking at it I think you'll have to replace the whole hose coming from the bottom of the reservoir, I don't think you can only replace the yellow connector. It's part number FL3Z-8C289-A I found a non Ford part on amazon - amzn.to/3Z1PNbr

Hello sir, how can I tell where the leak is coming from, I don’t see any coolant in my oil when I do my oil changes or white smoke coming from the exhaust, so i thinking I got a external leak, but I just can’t tell where exactly is coming from, I do smell some coolant coming from the from driver side. Thanks in advance

@@k-a147 I had trouble telling where it was coming from but could smell it from the driver side like you mentioned. I noticed the Y pipe or T connection was leaking after driving for a while then opening the hood and seeing the water pump pulley and belt was wet with some white scaling below it. The gaskets go bad in those quick connections and need to be replaced.

Hi Jacob, what make is the oil cooler you have its for sure an upgrade? looks cool
@jacobsupgrades17 күн бұрын
@@witwolfdebruin that's is a Mishimoto transmission cooler. It's about twice the size and capacity of the stock cooler. Works great when towing heavy loads in the mountains and sandy beach driving. Thanks Jacob for an easy and detailed video. When did you realize you left the paper towel in there? Hopefully before you started up the engine! Cheers from Motown/Dearborn.

@robertclymer6948 Your welcome! Haha great question, I realized it about 30 seconds after I started it up when it went from normal to muffled sounding. I shut it down immediately realizing what I did. After cussing myself for a bit I settled down and pulled the intake pipe and throttle body off. I looked inside the manifold and didn't see it. Then I pulled the whole intake manifold off and found it lodged in the manifold right before entering cylinder 01 in one large wadded up ball. I was super lucky. I'm glad I left the paper towel as 3 connected sheets so it didn't get sucked down in there. I've got a video coming soon showing how to trouble shoot this. I think from here on out I won't be plugging any openings 😂
