Thanks for the videos! I've a bit of experience with Fraser and vans, so it was good to see your content, often to confirm my thoughts! On the 3 way fridge... If you want to go off grid the 3 way is very adaptable compared to a compressor fridge. Your fridge is a modern Thetford so it should have Automatic Energy Selection or "AES", which if set up correctly will sense the power source and use in the following order of priority - 240v, alternator, gas. So when the alternator (or 240v) is not providing power it will change to gas automatically. AES requires one of the pins on your 12 pin to serve as a trigger source for alternator power. Each van manufacturer has their own pin number used for this purpose - check out the van's 12 pin plug. So if you haven't swapped out the 3 way fridge already, try the AES function before you do. The 3 way should work perfectly well for ambient temps up to ~35 degrees. Of course, a compressor fridge will provide more refrigeration capacity and cope better in very high ambient temperatures - at the cost of an extensive (expensive) electrical system upgrade. Tip for march flies on eastern beach - I find very few march flies (or mozzies or sand flies) between May and September. Spring and autumn there are some, In summer they will carry you away.

3 way fridges are not too bad. They are designed to only be on 12 volt when moving. Anything now a days has a relay or isolator as they kill a car battery pretty quick when motor is off. Awsome eps as ussual.

The fridges 12v is only designed for cooling while driving. It’s supposed to be in gas/AC at camp. You’ll get 21 days running the fridge off a 8kg bottle.

Happy easter to you and your family....sick setup you got going there rig looked mint 👌👌... my lil rant on those campboss tyre deflators i didnt rate em i bought 4 very fiddling with getting tyre pressure right each one i had to test pull off unscrew up or down the settings didnt match and sumtimes they wouldnt release all the pressure they stop before there pressures are reached...i bought the icheck tyre deflators so much better what i screwed the pressure to was what it would deflate to...thats my personal experience with those campboss tyre deflators maybe i just got a melon batch not sure but all is good....🍻🍻

Yeah I’ve found if your not on level ground or there’s more pressure on one wheel it can let more air out. But for most part they have been ok 👍🏼

The 3 way fridge isn’t meant to run on 12v. It’s only for when travelling between placed because it’s not efficient enough but 12v will sustain an already cold fridge.

All 3 way fridgs chew on the 12V and super ecomical on gas. I won't comment on lithium batteries how ever any caravan compnay who sells vans etc with AGM these days is just plain stupid. If you're after a middle of the market drop in lithium then itec workd 120X are good but you probs fit their 240X. 120X on sale is approx $800 eah.

@@TyFenwick fair call. I went and watched some older videos and relsied it's a 2nd hand van which makes more sense. You'll love the lithium. I've worked out to run the AC through the night a minimum 600amps of lithium is needed but speak to your local auto spark as it might be different for you
