F30 BMW 335i xDrive Pure Stage 2 Turbo Install N55 | ER TIC | Diverter | Pure Inlet

Hey Everyone,
Welcome back to part 3 of our Pure Stage 2 Turbo Install on our 2013 F30 BMW 335i xDrive N55. In today's video, we're going to show you the process to install your new Pure Turbo, PLUS, we're also installing a Go Fast Bits Diverter Valve, an Evolution Racewerks Turbo to Intercooler Chargepipe and the Pure Inlet!

Some shots were a little too tight for the camera, but make sure you re-attach and torque down all of your oil lines, coolant lines, re-attach your water pump bolts & connector, etc. Be careful to make sure you go back over everything and double check that anything that was removed initially was correctly re-installed and torqued to the correct spec, in the correct sequence.
Also, keep in mind that this video is geared for those who have a basic automotive knowledge. This is a complicated installation, so please be prepared before you begin. Always be safe...

Love your videos bro!. Refer to min mark 3:33 Got a random question .I bought a new turbo and it came without the nuts installed for the waste gates push rod. My question is how far down do I install the nuts ,is the waste gate valve supposed to have any tension or just left where it sits? Yours looks like at a 45` degree angle ? What was the install time frame? I have a e84 N55 xDrive, getting quotes from 6-12hrs for that job, which is a huge difference. Wish I was located near you guys

Would this process be similar on a 2011 e92 n55? I’m just starting to do work on my car myself and having such a hard time finding write ups on even simple jobs! Just trying to find torque specs and stuff seems impossible. I wanted to do the accessory belt and pulleys/tensioner bc they’re making noise and I can’t seem to find any detailed info, is there anything out there I could access aside from the Bentley manuals ? I’ve heard they’re not so great so didn’t buy one...anyways thanks for the high quality videos and helping people learn! This stuff can be really intimidating for a n00b haha!

Would the install process be roughly the same with a big boost 3.4 kit? Going to try putting one one my m235i but never done a turbo swap before. Did my own intercooler, downpipe, chargepipe, intake and exhaust so have some knowledge.

Thanks, Leo! You shouldn't need the anti seize. The main problem was the outside of the nut being corroded. The threading was perfect..

Hey guys, listing the torque spec would be extremely helpful. I'm in the middle of doing this upgrade and can't find the right torque for the engine mount and bracket. The turbo install itself is pretty easy though, if you just move everything out of the way that's interfering.

Hey Brian, I have a 2013 328I xdrive F30, Just 2 days ago it threw in a drivetrain malfunction and boost power loss. checked the codes for it and it said code "168102 Knock sensor 2signal engine noise under threshold or open circuit". and code "120408 Boost pressure control, cut offPressure rise blocked". Then the very next day whole bunch of warning ights came on such as stability control, then brake warning , tpms failure, and if the wiper turned on it can't be turned off unless switch off the ignotion and turn back on. am I screwed at this point?

We normally use BM3. For this car (my car), we went with a custom tune

This is such a PITA to do, really is not easy installing. Two of the exhaust nuts on the lower front are almost invisible and impossible to reach. The B58 is far simpler.

You show how to make a mod but when you're done installing, you simply say "well that's it"! What the heck? How about actually showing that the mod worked, actually show how to use the mod.
