We need to capture the guy's technique at 0:18 and bottle it. Picture perfect. Balance is perfect, rotation is smooth, accelerates through the rotation without any disturbances. Really, really nice. Footwork is spectacular.

Very cool to see in slow-motion. Is it recommended to use some right rudder pre-set when launching to overcome the tendency of the glider to turn left ? How about any right aileron pre-set ?

Perfect Day. Perfect form. Perfect music. Leave it to the freakin Brazilians to do everything perfectly.

It would help if we were told the rate of slow motion. I'm always interested in estimating launch speeds. Fun to watch though.

It is a one-off vest made by this guy for the 2011 world championship. Our 2013 shirt will be ready in the next weeks... check on our page on Facebook for updates and info.

It happened mostly on 60fps shots that I'd stretched more that I should...

Estou começando nos planadores DLG... e nasci na região de Mairinque. Tem algum site da equipe ou mais informações da modalidade? Grato.

Very nice. where is the flying site? looks like a great place to fly. Was some of the footage taken with a drone?
@mafracao6 жыл бұрын
The flying site is 75km west of Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the time those shots were made with a gopro 2 and a selfie stick.... I need to redo it with better gear...

Hey, thanks for the reply. Still looks good though, and the music is perfect. One of my favourite bands is/was Azymuth, from Brazil. Check them out if your not familiar. I need to get my GoPro out and do some of the same.

What kind of planes are they? Are they store bought? I fly RC planes, I've never seen these, how high can you throw them? How long can they stay flying?
@h2o2go14110 жыл бұрын
im new to F3K but i thought i'd try and answer your questions if you're still interested. F3K models are store bought usually but are often hand made as well. the highest throw I know of is 90m. the F3K "tasks" Usually last 300 seconds at most though my friends have thrown flights lasting more than 7 minutes. and If you had good thermals you could go almost indefinitely as long as the battery lasts.
