55:44 let us not forget that in Hobbs & Shaw, the Rock held down a helicopter with one arm and reeled it back in with a chain. And in Fast Five, Dom beat Hobbs in a fight. We actually see more of Dom’s strength in Furious 7 at the end when he stomps on the cracked parking garage and the ground beneath him and Shaw crumbles. The powerscaling in this verse is pretty consistent, lol.

They can catch people with cars without damaging them because you're specced that way, you can do impossible things because you have the right feats, and everyone's just having a fantastic time with the most ridiculous escalating setups.

Jakob could’ve told Dom while he was in jail for almost killing the man he thought was solely responsible for their father’s death, but no. I think Dom cared that he was family because instead of fighting him like he did the other guy he told him to just leave. He might not have meant forever but in that moment he just couldn’t be around him because of the anger and disappointment. I hope number 10 addresses the mother. I’m guessing now that Mr. Nobody is their uncle.

This movie was fun like the others, but my main problem is that they brought Han back. They spent like 3 whole films setting up that he was eventually gonna go to Tokyo and die, and since they needed a reason for him to leave the group they killed Giselle to then retcon his death a few movies later. Those two are my favorite couple in the franchise, so to go into this movie knowing that her sacrifice was sorta for nothing since Han survives and he doesn't ever mention her like she wasn't a big part of his life at one point leaves me feeling a bit sour. Idk maybe that was just me and I'm not necessarily mad they did bring Han back cause he's a cool character, more just how they chose to go about it

Timing in art is everything. F9 and F10 were gonna hit theatres back to back, just in time for the franchise's 20th anniversary. The pandemic pushed back the filming of F10 and release of F9. Justin Lin's returning as director for F9 was as good as expected. Story, action, humor and adding more characters (old and new) just couldn't be more exciting. With most of these sequels, you have to turn off your brain. Crazy stuff goes down and you just have to roll with it. The self-awareness in F9 was far from expected and very funny. The milestone brought out so much love from the fans who kept up (including me). In fact, it is a love letter to what we feel for The Fast Saga. Fast 10 aka Fast X has a new director and some new castmembers: Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, Brie Larson and the great Rita Moreno as Dom's grandmother to name a few. The story is hush hush as usual. Pulling back of the overly crazy stuff has been taken into consideration. Dwayne Johnson will do Hobbs & Shaw 2. Don't expect him on screen with Vin ever again.

I got a laugh when I went to see the original Fast And The Furious re release in theaters a few years back. A lot of the younger kids who got on during the fifth or sixth movie were wondering why they were putting Nos energy drink in their cars.
