Fabio Frangione - Junior FX TD Showreel 2016

The DemoReel has been made after attending the Advanced 3D for VFX at Escape Studios
The first shot is the collapsing of the famous London St. Paul Cathedral, the second one is the lift off of the Mars Ascent Vehicle based of "The Martian" film.
I' ve followed this two personal projects from start to the end, concept, shooting both the shots, making all the the 3D part and collaborating with the two compers that have helped me finalizing the shots with the look I wanted.
The software I' ve used most are Maya for all of the 3D part, Houdini for the RBD Sim and NukeX for Comp.

Awesome work! Great comp as well! Did you use this showreel to apply a job or is there a longer version? I am now preparing a showreel as junior so I am not sure how many work should be shown in a reel.

Appreciated it man :) Online now a days is full of great resources, it also depends on which software you already know and which one you would like to specialize in. I ve personally used a mix of houdini and Maya for the 3d part, you can check all the "applied houdini" courses for some great fx tips!
