It depends ...fable has always been unique with character customization ...in the sense your character changed based on your decision ...personally...i think that would be way better and more unique than character creation. in fable 1 you got permanent scars if you got hurt in combat your appearance changed based on how evil or good your were...even going to the extreme of growing devil horns. Getting demon eyes and having a dark aura.. you aged as time passed in the game your aura also changed based on what type of magic you used.. and then the world would react to you based on those gameplay choices.. that is way more interesting than making a Character. Evolve that system ..let us pick generic man or women..than customize them through gameplay....evolve that system..that would be something new and maybe next gen.

Even if this game turns out good, doubt it would top the original. Then again, it could be my nostalgia talking but I do play the original fable TLC once a year. It became a tradition for me at this point. I just adore the game, it has its own charm.

I'm a huge fable fan..I replay 1 to 3 every so often...from what ive seen of this game ..im excited ...playground seem to be getting it right the qwerky british humor is there..as a brit myself.. The combat is looking good the visuals look good... hopfully they keep it how itwas in 2 and 3 where you can choose between a male or femal protag...and your character changes based on your choices... hopfully its a blend of witcher 3 and Fable 2..but evolve the things from fable 2.....keep peter molenuex vision on no mini map..use the environment to get around..and maybe a pet dog,cat,bird.

As a PG fan, the only thing that i can assure you with the upcoming game is that environments would look be as great as the characters/monsters graphicily. The forest/swamp stuff in FH5 looks gorgeous to see

Couple points I want to stay I really think they're going to smash it apart with this playground is on it and the second thing I hear a lot of comparisons to The Witcher for combat but a lot of people don't understand that the witcher's style combat actually came from like Fable 2 it draws Fable to elements from that game but if you're not familiar with the way the game played you wouldn't know that

OMG, that's not good for the combat. I could use CD Project Red for graphics all day, but people keep missing the fact that the Witcher Action Combat was hollow. it barely had any impact, and it was twitchy/spammy. on the surface, it looked like things were happening but the longer you played the game the more you ran through the combat and you started to notice that you could just spam cancel combat, there is no meaningful combo system, you just have to cancel your animations to cancel the monster's animation from finishing and just rinse and repeat. it is not tactile in the least. you guys need to be looking at what Capcom does in their games, not The Witcher if you are talking about combat

From what Iv seen so far Xbox marketing is pretty decent BUT how long they wait to eventually market games is horrific. Every single game other than a teaser trailer has been marketed around release there is like 0 marketing for future games at least months in advance. In other words people will know about it when it comes out but probably not before hand other than socials hyping it. It is the lame part of Xbox. Any anticipation comes from like word of mouth or weeks before release.

Fable is not the game for that my dude...fable is a goofy British humor game and the character have never been eastern dev pretty...in fact the characters have often been caricatures I dont think theres ever peen a single character in a fable game that would fit into an estern style game..its not ideology its just how fable has been...if anything this new fable game has toned it down and made more normal characters.

The Veilguard has decent graphics and passable combat but the game still has boring game play and companions infested with modern day political ideologies and couldnt even get past 100k concurrent players on steam despite also piggy backing a much loved franchise, that dude Dave the vegetable is just the character and actor from the IT crowd tv show lol

I don’t see any red flags that point to Fable being as extreme as Veilguard. I also don’t think fable will be a blockbuster hit with insane amounts of players either. It will probably do well, but this reboot is of a niche little franchise from 360, I expect it to do similar to Dragon’s Dogma

Personally, I think if this character was preexisting, and we know about her, we established she's a gaze and they changed her AFTER that....I'd say it's a very obvious ploy to someone's beliefs, but she's a solid Ohio 6 and who knows how that fits the game itself. Fable is normally funny, riddled with strange faces and creatures and I think this will be the first Protag we don't watch grow up. Curious of what her background is, she looks about 20.... We know nothing, and my point is that intent is everything. No need to get wound up over assumptions!

The whole joke of the second trailer is that she looks like a normal woman and not a beautiful high cheek boned woman like most heros are painted as. Fable has always (other than 3) had rather unrealistically not attractive characters, in this case I'd say she looks pretty normal, but even if you think she's ugly then literally look at fable 1 or 2 and you'd see allot worse
