This is a great series! I am just getting into sewing clothes and have had several fails and I think most of the issue has been using the wrong fabric type. Where I live all we have is big box fabric stores and, unfortunately, the staff don’t have the knowledge to help. Knowing what to use and where to get it online (where the descriptions are more detailed) is really helpful. Thank you and Happy New Year!🎊 💥

Happy New Year! Thank you for coming back with Fabric Friday, love seeing what you might do with your fabrics. It's great when you talk through a type of Fabric, how it moves and what you think you could make. Thanks for the time you put in your Channel! Be safe stay well! Liz from S.Fla.😍☀️

I am so glad you talked about french terry. Your right Minerva has the best selection on solid colors. I have ordered loads of french terry from minerva. I live in the United States. A bit pricey, but, it was worth it.

Loved this video, I'm delighted this going to be a series because I have zero fabric knowledge googling 'softish jumper fabric?' only get's you so far! If there's going to be loads of these it would be great to see the fabric type in the title so that in the future it's easy to find specific videos instead of clicking through ten just to get the French Terry one!

Happy new year! I would also suggest a French terry shorts romper as well. I had one from Juicy Couture years ago I wore it during spring and summer. It had a drawstring waist and really cute.

Great video for info :) Just a question from a guy who’s gonna potentially cut French terry joggers to get my perfect length (Nike) will it roll up if I just do a cut and no re hem? I don’t mind some fraying (because Yeezy 😂)

I have the opportunity to go to the LA fabric district in the near future. I thought you had gone there, but I went through all your videos and did not see a video on it. Have you been there? If so, what stores do you suggest? Love to watch your fabric reveals because I used to own a fashion fabric store.

Happy New Year Ayisha and all. I am having trouble finding a charity that I can donate fabric to. If anyone knows of charities in London can you give me the name/s. The fabrics are my Mum's, I sew but the fabrics are not the colours I like. Thanks all. My mum as a large amount of fabric she would prefer that people use them to make garments than to recycle the fabrics or dump.

Have you thought about maybe contacting a few schools/universities I’m sure there are a few course that would benefit from having supplies for their students. I’ll have a look to see if there are some charities that take fabric. ☺️
