If you want to offer advice to new sewists, maybe mention about the need to interface where a zipper is installed, even with a stable knit. Wavy zips are discouraging 😉. Great idea for a series, and generous discount too! ❤️

Polly Dolly Great point! I’ve never made a knit garment that includes a zip so I guess that hadn’t crossed my mind yet. Thank you for your comment ❤️

I clicked on the video because I wanted to start sewing some baby toys but a beginner like me will most likely not have an overlocker so in a video series targeted at beginners it would have been great if the tools used were also on the beginner level. Also the actual sewing tips are from 7:30 to 8:20 about the ball point needle. I really hoped for a beginner advice video 🫤

What a great video. Super collaboration with great benefits for your subscribers. I really appreciate the helpful suggestions as I am not confident with knowing which fabrics to use. This has really helped as I didn’t even know what French terry was. I assumed it was just ‘terry towelling’ Now I know! 👍😊

Hi, I was just wondering if you used the overlocker to attach the neckband (step 8) Your Fjord is lovely and you have inspired me to make one. Thanks.

This was really helpful.I think ,even though machines are different it would have been helpful to know what you used for both machines as a starting point. I think your cardi looks great and matches your make up perfectly.

Hi Tamlyn, great vlog and I love to sew with French Terry too 👌. Those fabrics look great quality and interesting designs too 👍. I love making the Molly Top by sew over it with it...comes out great every time 💕. Saving up for more of Lamazi fabrics and great to have the discount too.... just got to check the bank balance 😉. I love that colour on you and the cardi looks like a brilliant design 💖😁😘

I love your new format - very informative. being from USA I don't buy from UK but sometimes wish I could - I'm assuming shipping would not be cost effective. your vlog is not to be missed - I find you delightful and educational in an informal setting.

Great idea to do this. I love French Terry both to wear and to sew with, so easy. I’ve actually used it to make some tops where single jersey recommended and it has worked perfectly although this would depend on the top of course. Like the pattern suggestions too thanks for the discount code too.

Great blog Tamlyn, I do like French terry although I have never sewn with it. So do you know if free shipping applies to Canada? It is very tempting if it does apply. Thank you so much, I think this is going to be an awesome series. Have a great weekend Val 🇨🇦🇬🇧❤️
