Awesome! I liked the moment when you through that skylight in the scene and thanks to raytracing it started to give that realism in no time! Disappointed to read some unethical comments here. Even if someone get better results then Fabrice in Unreal not everyone has the art of teaching! You guys might be getting good results, but you do not make this kind of useful tutorials that is going to benefit not a few people but thousands! I thank you for your beautiful work! You're such a great source of inspiration for me! I wish I had some cool renders so that you could've looked and it would've been an honor to receive your feedback. But I develop for Oculus Quest so it restricts me in terms of quality. Anyways, if you read this, I just want to say that I'm a big fan and student of yours! may Allah bless you

Quick tip. Right click on object and select all same material and the drop your preferred material in. Saves having to manually select object

That was a great video. I've been doing visualisations in Maya for a long time and considering getting Unreal into my pipeline to speed things up but, been kind of hesitant about it. Seeing this video has helped a lot. Thank you. Consider me subscribed...

You can use a blueprint actor for the light if you want them instanced. :) Then you can just edit the actor to effect them all.

great vidéo as always :) One question,why put a Sky_sphere instead of a Hdri Backdrop ?One is better than other ?
@FabriceBourrelly4 жыл бұрын
It's a personnal preference. I have experienced large drops in framerate with the hdri backdrop and I don't find it as practical as my own method.

Thanks for this tip ! The result is really wonderfull under UE RTXGI (available on the github), the GI is wrong under the actual gi raytrace and really slow, with RTXGI i am to 60fps, with the actual GI to 24 fps

@@FabriceBourrelly well, I see, that you are not really keen on criticism, which is actually good for developing. I am a 3d artist with more than 5 years of experience in CGI. My portfolio you can check here www.behance.net/Danielgoncharenko My advice- be patient and calm hearing some critic or suggestions to your side for the next time. It probably will help you to rise.

I am very keen on taking advice and criticism from people I respect. I have 25 years of experience and one thing you should learn young man is to remain polite, one thing perhaps your mother did not teach you. I know what photorealsom is better than you judging by the poor renderings on portfolio page. You need to work a harder before you start teaching as it certainly looks like you need to learn a few things before you do. I have very little patience for people like you who think they know everything and don't even have the courage to post a video, and judging by your work, I certainly don't feel that I have to receive any lessons from you.
