On your zucchini boats, like the egg plant if you salt it once you clear out the insides and turn it over on paper towels, it helps with the moisture. Love your recipes and trying them out

Haven't seen all your videos but just wanted to add that I made beef jerky on the lowest setting(had to babysit it) but it produced jerky in about 30 minutes using beef from my local Asian market that is pre-cut for use in hotpots. Amazing results with the usual marinating and liquid smoke overnight. Pillsbury croissant (in the roll) Veg fried rice was amazing simple with leftover rice and cut up veg (insert veg & onions first then add rice) The best way to make 2 egg Denver omelet (use regular parchment paper and flip half way onto a second parchment paper) Tried popcorn, massive fail Pizza buns Tuna melts

The air fryer manufacturers should be paying you a commission! We keep kosher, so we don't mix meat and dairy, and our air fryer is only used for meat dishes. However, I saw that Bed Bath and Beyond is closing, so I convinced Da Lovely Wife to accompany me to our nearest BB&B to check for any compelling discounts. We did pick up a few odds and ends, but, of course, I was looking at the air fryers. (No, I wasn't fooling her, and I knew better than to try. I knew she wouldn't object if we found the right model at an acceptable price.) Alas, they only had four models in stock, and I didn't like any of them. Three were really toaster ovens with a convection function billed as air fryers. Our toaster oven could stand to be replaced and I almost bought one of those for that purpose, but a quick check online showed that even the smallest of those was larger than we needed for that purpose, and even on sale, it was no bargain. The fourth was a Crux dual-basket model that looked intriguing until I pulled out the baskets and saw that they were so narrow that the machine would just take up a ton of counter space and double my cleanup efforts without saving me any time. It might make a good toy for a bachelor who wants to eat well on his own and impress a date by showing how he can whip up a meal for two with some intricacy to it, but not really what a family needs, so I left it on the shelf. Still, especially after watching this video, I really want a second air fryer for cooking dairy dishes. I will keep my eyes open for good deals on your recommended models.

My experience with oil spritzers from years ago they worked well at first, they became inconsistent in their coverage, they clogged, they ceased, and left to sit on a shelf they turned rancid. The problem with the spritzer concept is the pumping mechanism in ALL styles. They cannot be opened up for routine cleaning so, the build up and become a nuisance. The trick is to let go of that tunnel vision and go with the truly FRUGAL part of your namesake by adopting an easy system. When and where you can 1) place the food to be cooked in a bowl, 2) pour your oil into a spoon size you choose, 3) sprinkle the oil onto food, 4) toss food for more even distribution. This system leaves a little oil on the sides of the bowl, hence frugal. Or buy a box full of the cheapest spritzers you can find and be prepared to replace them often. 😮

I’m a cancer survivor so I feel a little bit differently about a lot of the recipes that are on the Internet that make it easy. They cook with too much sugar and sodium so I think for us who are healing from cancer or possibly any health issues such as high blood pressure be very careful with your sodium and you aresugars. For all others it does make life easier.
