I love the little trinket dish with the fox. I've became drawn to anything with foxes since my son named his son Fox as his middle name.

I love that story. Yes, anything with a fox on it is so cute!

The children’s clothing looks like things I wore as a child in the 60s. So cute! I absolutely love the barn painting!

Thank you! Yes...us too in the 60's (and early 70's). I am so drawn to those precious baby clothes. I'm so glad you loved the barn painting! XO

Sisters!! Again, I am just shocked at what treasures you find for such great prices. Kathleen, the (free!!) furniture is beautiful and looks perfect in your landscape. The view you have with the mountains is breathtaking. The children's clothing is so sweet and precious. Paula, the needlepoint is unbelievable and beautiful. I'm so glad that each of you rescues these treasures and shares them with us. The on-line shop is looking great!!

That needlepoint is really beautiful. I'm not typically drawn to needlepoint art, but the colors/design are so dark and moody.
@relativelyrefined Жыл бұрын
I adore the colors...moody is the exact perfect word. Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much. Yes, I had my eye on that bowl all weekend and was so glad it didn't get scooped up prior to my purchase. It is lovely!

Good morning sweet ladies! What a completely enjoyable video this morning! Paula, your needlepoint picture is gorgeous! Kathleen, your free teak furniture is so special! What a find, and what a view you have from where you placed it! The children's vintage clothing is absolutely charming! Those mushroom canisters would have been hard to leave, and I understand why you could not! 🙂

Hello Justine!! Thank you so much, as always, for your kind words and insight. There's something about mushrooms...and canisters...that are hard for me to leave behind, lol. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Have the best day!! XO

That needle point was incredible - I thought it was an oil painting. “Rescued it” 🤣😂🤣 I thought that was my saying!!! Have a great week. Love your channel!!! 🍁🍂🌻🐿️

Love Kathleen's bowls, huge ceramic and the pink striped mixer, also the barn picture just in time for fall decor. Goodness, what a score on the outdoor furniture. Paula, I think I have shared before that I too rescue needlework items. Being a former cross stitcher my heart just will not allow me to walk away knowing the time that goes into the creation.

Thank you, Darlene! I cannot leave behind something that I know someone put such time and love into!

One thing I do now is swap out cookie jars or pumpkins or tureens that are lidded…….I put my chargers in them so they are all in one place. Works great on the kitchen counter.
@relativelyrefined Жыл бұрын
Great idea!! I am definitely going to use this to store those unsightly charging cords that are my nemesis. I can't thank you enough!!

I cannot believe that beautiful teak furniture was free!! That appears to be a very expensive set. Lucky you! Please research the care of teak furniture before applying any products to it. One site said applying oil is not necessary since teak wood has oil naturally. And it will naturally gray over time. I think I love the gray color better than the original golden color. I really enjoy this channel and I hope you get to 5,000 subscribers!

The teak is amazing quality. It mostly appears dry; oiling wood furniture is an easy, inexpensive, annual fix. Danish tung oil. That was amazing score. Loved it all though! What great taste you ladies have!

Hi Kathleen. I have good news for you! I am certain that your bowl is from Stephen Pearce here in Ireland, and is part of his Shanagarry collection. The pottery is made in the village of Shanagarry in East Cork and I have loved his work for many years. If you search for either Stephen Pearce or Shanagarry Pottery you will discover more treasures in the online shop. I believe you also have irish heritage so I'm sure you will love your bowl even more now that you know where it is from. i enjoy your channel very much; a lovely concept that you share it with your sisters :) Best wishes from Cork, Ireland. Mary

THANK YOU!!! You have no idea how much I loved reading this. I am now headed to do my research and, yes, we do have Irish heritage which makes this all the better. Thank you so much for all of this information! XO

I honestly can't either! It made the perfect thrift find of the month because I just could not believe that was the price for a handmade work of art!

So I would ask is there really a niche for that? The vintage clothing shop idea? I’ve never seen one….unless you hooked up with a photographer who focuses on doing vintage family photos??
@relativelyrefined Жыл бұрын
Good question. I do not know if there is a niche...although some vintage baby clothes are quite collectible and sought after right now, particularly since the items were just made better and often hand stitched. Thanks so much for watching!! XO
