My first car, was a used, triple black GTO. Sparsely optioned, 389 w/4 bbl, powerglide. Cost 500 bucks back in 1972. But I had at least a half a million dollars worth of fun with it. Oh and women LOVED this car. What a time to be 16 years old!

Adjectives for every classic car ad ever: tight, strong, 'dream to drive'. This clearly meets those requirements.

I had a the '67 with a four speed and 400 block. I had the reverb radio also. Mine was black on black as well and was a blast to drive! I kept it stock..the way most should stay! Nice car you have!!

Reminds me of my Goat. It was a gold/gold with the powerglide(2 speed, yuck; her only drawback) tranny. Had the base 389 with a single 4 bbl. Rochester atop a stock intake, like the one shown above w/335 hp. All power and air. I sold it just before the gas crunch of the early '70's. It proved to be a reliable daily driver for around 3 years. Had 117,000 when I sold it. She was burning a little oil by that time and probably was due for a rebuild. It was a GORGEOUS color combination. Sadly, I don't have any pic's of it. Overall, it turned out to be a great date car for a college kid!Now I wish I had her back.

A fair price for this car would be about 14 K . 37.5 K is right out of the question .

14K? You cant be serious. $25,000 sounds good to me. Not $37,500

anyone can just say numbers, find someone who would sell this for 25,000. other than a relative that inherited it and is looking for drugs and a quick buck

Sorry, but the first year goat was the '64, and the car Ronny and the Daytonas sang about their one-hit wonder, "Little GTO". I refer you to a book about goats entitled "The Big Little GTO Book". Everything you ever wanted to know about GTO's is in that book. The author's name escapes me at this time, but I think the guy's last name was Brooks. It breaks them down year by year; the history since first conceived by John DeLorean and all the rest. A MUST for every GTO afficianado!

Look,s like you have your left foot . Resting on the Clutch Pedal. After you are done, going into 4th Gear. You are engaging the throw out Bearing. Against the Fingers, of the Clutch Plate. This will, wear out the Clutch Bearing sooner.Get your foot off that Pedal!.

For $37,500 the paint job sucks, and nice dent in the back corner of the left quarter.

Chris Kendrick.... and you can add to that, the steering wheel was not straight when he was going straight, metal trim around the radio etc left a lot to be desired, shifter knob was crooked, under-carriage was not exactly primo, and the hood hinges were wayyy out of line - the left side rear of the hood "appeared" to be at least a 1/2 inch above the fender line on the drivers side, a little less on the right side.... nice Goat, but wayy too much money for what it is.

Uhgg, the 50's music was so horrible. And there's nothing 'little' about the '66 GTO. lol Great car though. One of my favorite muscle cars.

They are singing about 1964 GTO ,the first one. Smaller than `66 GTO, and there is no wrong about 50`s music ,if you lived during that time you would know,ding-dong...pling-plong

Not 50’s music. Mid 60’s. Awesome song about the first GTO
