I dont like the paintball masks because they dont let me aim down sights at all. Im not sure if its just me or what but it just adds more to where my cheek should be resting and my head doesn't line up with the gun

I used to have one of the full helmet-style paintball masks 9:08 when I first started playing in 2006. I later just started wearing full seal ESS goggles with a balaclava and helmet while indoors.

Although I agree that the paintball mask has fairly optimal protection, bb's can get through the bottom of the mask because there is not a full seal around the mouth. Also you can't get a proper cheek weld with a paintball mask. But at the end of the day, it's up to your personal preference. I personally like to wear the fast helmet, desert locusts, and mesh mask just because that's what I feel is comfortable. But as I said, it's totally up to you to decide what to wear.

im new to airsoft and i bought the full head paintball mask (the same exact one you said that you wear) but my glasses wont fit in it. i eventually found out that you can pop out the neck amd top of the head bit and it fits perfect if i wear a backwards hat with it. definitely recommend it to people who wear glasses and cant fit them in most masks.

Hello. My name is Troy. If you are able to afford it, there is a brand of revision that arguably makes the best goggle. They have an insert that lets you be able to get your prescription lenses on the goggle system itself, and to let you not have to wear your glasses on the field. Like you said you should wear a scarf and the full face mask. When I play I wear the full face mask and a jacket with the hoodie on so it gives me some neck protection

I've used steel mesh goggles and a light fabric mask since I started and never once had a problem with head injuries. Even after being shot in the mouth, ears, neck, head, and goggles many times over 5 years of playing. I'm not saying it can't happen with what I use, I'm saying use what works best for your play style.

Yes, I'm 16 and I wear desert locusts, a helmet, and a mesh mask and they allow me as well as others under 18 to wear that.

Where I come from, Southern California, a lot of people wear Dye mask and a beanie. I personally run a Dye myself and I love it. It very light-weight and I could wear it all day. They're definitely worth it. You get what you pay for in life. I personally use goggles/mesh-mask/helmet combo, but DYE face masks are arguably the best full face masks around.
