There's no way to say this without seeming as though I'm "bashing" other KZbin beauty gurus, but I still have to let it be known how absolutely classy I find Lisa to be. She exercises just the right amount of restraint - she says what's interesting and what's important, and not a word more. I have to confess that I find it annoying when beauty KZbinrs spend the first ten minutes of a video just gabbing about themselves when I came to the video to watch a tutorial or to learn things ABOUT COSMETICS that I never knew before.

I love masks! Ever since I was 12 and I discovered you could make them. And I've done more than one a day on occasion lol. One summer I did a daily brightening mask. My skin looked incredible. I do them at least once a week but I've been a bit out of the habit. This has inspired me to pamper myself :)

Your eye make up is really lovely here Lisa. I like the kind of toned down drama and the contrast of the light and dark. Sometimes when I'm tired a full smoky eye makes me look like a bit of a hag to say the least! This looks more wearable.

Oh! I wanted to ask you....is it a problem if you leave a mask on a long time? Some masks say to leave on till dry or for 20 minutes and, if I get busy, I tend to have them on for an hour or more. Is that a problem? Thanks.
@LisaEldridge10 жыл бұрын
***** I do that too sometimes. I dont have sensitive skin at all (sounds like you dont either) so I'd say its absolutely fine. Many hydrating masks are designed for use overnight anyway. I think be guided by your own skin when it comes to stronger clay etc masks and use common sense (always good!) X

Excellent video! Thank you for sharing the masks you enjoy most. I started masking on an almost daily basis about a year ago. I alternate between peels, clarifying, hydrating, etc. I have been amazed at the results these masks have made on my face, neck and décolleté. My skin looks like it did 5 years ago. I'll take that! Masks are a must in my beauty arsenal. I will put one on real quick in the morning while I am getting the kids ready and/or picking out my clothes for the day. Or I will put one on a few minutes before hopping into the shower at night. I have super dry skin, so I will even sleep in a hydrating mask from time to time when my skin needs a little extra TLC. We are all worth it!!
