I'm not Filipino at all, but my mom's step dad (my step grandfather) is Filipino and being around his family, (of whom I've been close to my whole life) is really just quite an experience lmao. I'm glad to say that a part of my family is Filipino because I really love the different cultural aspects and the food especially AND that I can understand all of these jokes.

as a Filipino kid growing up with a very strict Lolo(grandad) was soooo hard I felt like we are in a military concentration camp specially during meal time but it is something else if your own Mom grew up first with a Dad like him!
