Noticed you use D’Addario NYXL strings...Have you ever tried the Elixir NanoWeb Light Heavy 10/52 strings? If so, I would like to get your thoughts on the two. I use to D’Addario EXL140, Light Top/Heavy Bottom 10/52 strings and then got turned on to the Elixir NanoWeb’s and they sound so much better to me. I feel they were more vibrant with a bit more brightness and punch.

Yeah I've been using the NYXLs for a long time now. I recently got turned to a brand called Stringjoy which I'm pretty excited to try out, I've heard very god things about it. I have not tried Elixirs on electric, just on my acoustic and I love them. I'll give the NanoWebs I try in the future.

Brian Beattie thanks dude, honestly I try to keep everything as dry as possible and just add a little compressor and EQ preset to the final mix. I don’t mess with curves and any of that stuff because honestly I’m just shooting from the hip every time 😊

Edit: I just use my ears and judgement. If it sounds good to me at the moment, I just leave it as is and move on to the next song.

Both. Usually left or right side of the track will be the lead and the other the rhythm when I record my guitars. Same for my video angles, one angle I will play rhythm and in the other angle I will play the lead, accordingly.
