@@Zlnfgz Ethan and his mom know each other and the entire game was a proof of that. She knew he kept his relationships secret and as she said herself, she kinda knew he was gay. He did it on public because he had an idea of how she would react and you know that from how light he looks as he says it. At the same time, you can see how happy she is that he's done it, she immediately smiles and her eyes are filled with tears and her only answer is "I love you". She could fake a good reaction if she wanted and nobody would know, but the fact that anyone could see how happy she was that he was out is what makes her reaction amazing.

Mid 90s I was next door neighbors to a lesbian couple. They had already been married for a while. They would let us play in their yard, one of them tutored me in math(she was a teacher) for free. Now 25 years later, they are still married and now have a little girl who’s about 12(the one that tutored me carried the baby). We still hang out with them, they came to my baby shower even though we hadn’t seen them in 6 years. I never thought anything of it(I have a gay uncle who got married in the 90s) so I just thought they are a normal family, like any other family, just same sex couple. Talking to them now, they never had an issue being a “same sex” couple. They didn’t have a problem getting married(early 90s/late 80s), they didn’t have a problem having a baby etc. they are extremely successful. I’m happy for them and they are the best people I’ve ever met. It’s sad so many people struggle with this because there are a lot of gay couples who never had an issue with anything even in the 80s and 90s. You’d think people would be more open to it now since social media and the attention being brought to it. Anyways, just thought I’d share that little tidbit. There is nothing wrong with it and now more than ever is the time to show your true self.
