FACEBOOK Marketplace Car Purchase Surprise, Does She LOVE it?!

Well I finally scored the Facebook Marketplace car I have been trying to get my hands on for days, now the only thing left to do is show it to my lady and get her opinion of it. After multiple attemptes at buying a car from Facebook marketplace I was finally success, but will my significant other like it, love it, or hate it? As the saying goes, better to ask forgiveness than permission right?
So after successfully buying a used car despite the headaches, what did I buy? Well I'm glad you asked! Feast your eyes on this beautiful 2003 Chrysler PT GT in "Grandma Gold"! Why in the world would I, a hot rod guy, a muscle car guy, a cool car guy, be interested in purchasing such a car? Well I'm glad you asked and it comes down to 2 things. The first of which is the 2.4 Turbo motor under the hood of this understated retro car from the early 2000s, basically the same powerplant to be found in the Dodge Neon SRT-4s, but without the miles and abuse of being sold to young guys and boy racers. The other? Well that would be the 5 speed Getrag transmission and 3 peddles! Yes sir, that's what makes this car desirable!
Now, are those enough to make my lady love it? Or at least tolerate it? Keep in mind, the plans for car aren't actually for THIS car... but for a project car that's been sitting waiting in the background patiently for years!

Last year my bf bought me a 2005 PT cruiser convertible turbo. I love it! It’s in excellent condition. Belong to an old lady from a rich neighborhood. One owner and I’m the second owner. It turns heads. I remember when my boyfriend gave it to me for my birthday I was the only one in my town, and slowly they started to bring them out of their garage. Now everyone is cruising in their PT cruiser. It’s amazing to be a Chrysler PT cruiser owner. ❤

Generally speaking.....PT Cruisers are steaming money pits..... but..... this one is basically an SRT4. Nice buy.

I’m going to reserve judgment until I know what her project vehicle is. But I can assure you she doesn’t hate it. I’ve broughten home plenty of vehicles that my g/f won’t even go near to know the look of utter disappoint in a newly acquired purchase! Some of them I’ve purposely kept out of sight.

Most recently is a ‘99 GMC Savanna 3500 completely rusted out. It’s got a (Gen 6) 7.4 with 103k miles. And I paid $630 with tax. Ironically it’s one of two auction vehicles that I was able to drive home! She wasn’t impressed for some reason but I told her how much I paid and she was ok because it’s massive inside and can haul her junk around.

I commented on the last video wondering if this is what you were buying and I was right !! My buddy had one of these same color bigger turbo tuned exhaust intake and a Chrysler prowler front end on it ! It moved out pretty good !

I believe Your going to put the turbo motor and trans in a car that she has. If I remember it's was a Shelby charger or a glhs. BTW, you have some guys at the car farm( ytube channel) that are probably not that far from you and they specialize in the older tubo front drive Chryslers from the 80s and 90s. They have a whole bunch of cars and lots of parts.

That's kinda of what I was thinking, a couple 22 rounds. It certainly makes me a bit more curious because there's NO sign of anything mounted there and... why would there only be 2 holes?
