great show. I liked their take on what could have been a bit of a cliche set of characters, and set of circumstances. Really good writing. Just when i was like um fuck this show, it just got better and better and more complex. Good stuff. Props to these female actresses. Also happy there is a woman of color in the main cast. no offense but Jean is not a morally grey character she's a literal sociopath who will do anything and everything to satisfy her own selfish needs. she doesn't involve herself into her patients lives to help them or save them she does it because she genuinely can't help herself and that's proven more than ever in the last episode. Sidney is the only character I can stand and that's only because Sophie plays her

Well damn you nailed that. Cookson was the only reason to really watch once you concluded the writers were in over their heads and the show was a snooze. These other ladies were actually quite good also. I hope they’re at least able to further their careers with the exposure.

If this show is about a woman in a midlife crisis it will bore you to death. I, on the other hand (right or wrong), watched it as a woman with mental issues which made it really good. I feel so lucky I got it totally wrong...lol... I can't imagine anyone making it thru all 10 hours of boring slow moving midlife crisis.

Well right up until the end I thought she was having some sort of break down but when she looked at Sophie and smiled in that almost unsettling manner I was almost certain she was a sociopath. But who knows really; we'll just have to wait for the next season.
