The grill vents are active for heating, cooling, and mpg. People that know will trip when they see the 2nd gen front end with that 6.2L badge. Clean that filter, paint it grey

That metallic grinding noise sounds like one of the hydraulic lines behind the front wheel. Mine was on the passenger side, the tire wore a hole in the hydraulic line for the 4WD system, sounded exactly the same.

1) Repaint the truck, the gray is awesome! 2) Replace and probably relocate the airfilter, it's filthy and with the new hood it could probably do with a relocation. 3) Fully service the truck, new filters ect. Thanks for a great show guys!

Thinking aloud- when making your own pigtail, instead of epoxying a "permanent" plug, could you 3D print a plug, wrap it in a gasket material so it's removable like an OEM pigtail? Dunno - just problem solving someone else's projects...lol

I absolutely recommend upgrading to the Morimoto XB headlights if you can make the wiring work. I installed them in my 2018 F150 and simultaneously got more than double the light output and half the amount of people flashing me because the beam pattern is waaayyy better. I work nights and now I can actually see where I'm going.
