I will never forget the day Alexis died. I worked with some of her family and it was just devastating. It breaks my heart that they both died the way they did. Her family started a foundation after she died offering rides to anyone who is drunk no matter the place or the time of day. They will literally drop everything they are doing and go get you so you don't drive drunk. It's truly inspiring and heart breaking at the same time

5:48 The headstone pretty much says all who die return to god. This headstone was probably done by his ignorant family members who buried her with him. 6:21 So the Arabic headstone for the first lady is a prayer in Arabic. It speaks of her returning to God. Her name is Kamila Ali Hassan Jayashi. The second male headstone is in Farsi. I only read Arabic sorry. So he's of Iranian descent. The 3rd male is also a prayer under his headstone. Hope that helps.

My niece and her fiance were killed in June 21st of 2016 by a man who worked at a Walmart and decided to drink and drive after work. He crossed lanes and hit them straight on. He received 8 years and only did 4years. He took 2 lives! he recently got out and continues to live his life. Talk about "no justice" I feel angry and sorrow for my sister watching her suffer. If your ever in California, my niece is buried at All Souls in long beach. It was on ch 7 news.

Snowbunny 420 Ive noticed that drunk drivers who end up killing someone when under the influence often get a second chance. Well, Alexis doesn’t get a second chance at life. This was somebody who should not have been driving in the first place. Whenever I see the graves of drunk driving victims, they always remind me of that movie with Jack Nicholson “The Crossing Guard”, where a bereaved father wants revenge on the recently released drunk driver who killed his daughter.

Always watch children closely when they're in or near any water, no matter what their swimming skills. Even kids who know how to swim can be at risk for drowning. For instance, a child could slip and fall on the pool deck, lose consciousness, and fall into the pool and possibly drown.

In 2013 a North Dakota woman who lost her two children to a drunk driver successfully lobbied for the state to toughen up the state's DUI penalties. Almost immediately after the law was passed, she got busted for drunk driving. As difficult as it is to comprehend, its important to remember that when addressing drunk driving as a social issue, the objective is to teach, not to judge.

The one i will never understand is the murder suicides, and they are buried next to each other ! Or they are buried in a family plot of the suspect who had a hand in their death. There is a little girl buried here, in the family plot of her mothers bf, who was accused of killing her. She was not quite 2 when she died. (This was in 1972) my older sisters used to babysit her (she lived next door to us with her mom) long story short, she was taken to the hospital and she was found to have many many fractures through out her body, some new, some in process of healing. Sjull fractures. Clumps of hair missing. Front teeth knocked out. Cigarette burns on her backside. Her mother pointed the finger at her bf (not the father of the girl) he pointed the finger at her. In the end, neither of them did time. Ultimately, the mother plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter, and only received "counseling" which really pi**es me off. I've been going to her grave for as long as I can remember. All she had for a headstone was the cement marker that is only supposed to be temporary. After 33 years I thought this is crap, she needs something permanent. I worked with the cemetery, and they donated one for her! Its beautiful. Nothing fancy, but so much better than the small marker that only read the plot numbers. Her mom had the twisted nerve to bury her in the bf family plot. Not sure if it was because they had one and offered it to her so she would be spared the price of buying one? I sure as hell would never bury my kid in their killers family plot! Sorry for the long story. Lamont, you should really come up here, there's so many other stories you could do a video story on!
