I just want to share a story. My mom had 10 siblings, the baby of the bunch was named James Steven. It was 1978 he was 16 yrs old coming home from football practice on his motorcycle. A truck hit him head on and ran. Steve was left on fire fighting for his life. He died 3 days later. They found out who hit him, let me tell you this. My grandmother, James's mom forgave this man, he wrote her everyday. I remember this man he was always drunk and in tears. Not because of the accident but because he chose to drive off. He dealt with those demons his entire life. Face it, deal with it and possibly you may be able to continue your own life.

What Casey's "friend" did to her and by lying to her mother is absolutely unconscionable. We all do foolish things when we are young, Fortunately, many of us grow out of doing foolish things. I agree Lamont, those kids that left their friend to die on the road aren’t going to all of a sudden grow into upstanding adults. Those people were losers then and I’m guessing they will grow up to be losers. A lot of young people today. Also on the immigration issue, people are going to try and say so many immigrants don’t commit crime but the ones that do are the problem and the guy who killed 4 people is the reason we have to stop illegal immigration. Sure there are good ones but come here legally that’s all. One last comment, what was the Bizarre chanting you did at the end LOL Don’t know who the guy was that you were doing that at his grave but I’m guessing it has something to do with the name or something I just don’t get the reference

This murderer was deported but came back into our country. Spending 38 years in So. California it was not unusual to read about a murder committed by an illegal that had been deported 13; 14 or 15 times. Known as “catch and release”

In Spain, the same thing happens there are criminals who commit 20 or 30 crimes, the police arrest them and after two days they are free, to return to crime, I never thought that this was happening in the USA, I always thought that the law was firmly applied there, but I see that the world plan to destroy the nations is the same, here they even hide the nationalities of the criminals, to show that it is we who commit them, they are helped economically, perhaps more than those here, and they pay assaulting the borders, stealing and raping by hurting the police, and are protected by our politicians, this cannot end well and burst somewhere and although we are accused of Xenophages and racists, more and more people who do not support illegal immigration , and the terrible problems that this generates, the poorest countries export their poverty, and that gives them a lot of money, but they are destroying the countries and the good people who live there, it is really shameful, a f Strong hug from

You don't know that for a fact! Chicago police are prohibited from revealing immigration status to outside agencies such as ICE, ATF, FBI, because of policies from the mayor's office. Chicago is a sanctuary city It is also a city of ethnic neighborhoods. When you read about shootings in Pilsen, Humboldt Park, Garfield Park and Little Village, all Hispanic enclaves, there's the possibility of illegals being involved.

Common theme to mid-western states from PA to NV is the fact many of our young are killed in traffic crashes. Wide open roads. I am a retired Ohio Trooper and have seen hundreds if not thousands of people killed in car crashes. Please everyone buckle up, go the limit, and watch out at all times. When I was 16 until 21 didn’t believe in seatbelts but my career changed my mind. People on motorcycles, bikes, and pedestrians please always be ready for a car to swerve off the road. You be safe out there Lamont while on your travels my friend.

No matter how or why they are taken. I am a parent and Gramma of four grandies! My heart hurts to think of the pain these families have suffered and will continue to suffer in years to come. Bless you for showing real heart! In these days of all the phony snowflakes around, you are very refreshing! Plus the color of eyes is just about the same as my eldest, so I'm good with that too!

You're angry because you know the value of life. For ones life to be stolen by one who lacks compassion or care for others...one whose actions please themselves, without a thought for others and takes a life...ya, anger as well as sorrow. You hope to have that person hear what their actions could cause. To think..."yes that booze could kill another, yes those addictions can kill, yes driving distracted can kill, not wearing a seat belt can kill. Yes kill another or can kill me." Many are there from actions of others, many by their own choices and actions. Look at those stones... what is lost forever to our world. Life and the world continues, there are more headstones, and many sit in prison. The memory, the pain sorrow and suffering of these losses of life, lives on. Soooo...continue to awaken compassion and self control in those who need that message. Those old quotations we hear have a place...one that comes to mind is...The life you save, may be your own. Yep, that's a fact.

Lamont , I can tell that you've been around police officers and so have I. You're right, they are just ordinary people too and don't give a damn about a lot of things just like everyone else. Everyone believes that they are beyond reproach and do their duty with the utmost integrity. Many do, but not all of them. I'm not here to denigrate the cops , I'm just telling it like it is. I like how you tell it like it is also.
